  1. Wouldn’t be surprised if RTG have a thread about it calling us fickle.
  2. I wouldn’t go that far like. We were on home turf and the tournament was won by a fairly average Germany. If anything that squad failed as far as i’m concerned. We need to get out of the mentality that getting to the semi final is glorious. I agree with your point that having more leaders in the team though.
  3. You certainly have previous And there was me thinking i was 1 of the forum’s most enlightening and articulate posters
  4. When i saw they’d gone 1-0 up early on, i knew exactly what would happen. The bloke is clueless and so predictable.
  5. Bet Lascelles can’t stand him. Like chalk and cheese character-wise those 2. *edit* Not even sure if Lascelles had much to do with him as he went straight back on loan to Forest i think, therefore i’m probably talking shit.
  6. Over the moon he seems to be coming good as he looked like a liability earlier in the season. I thought Clark was a better option a few months ago, certainly don’t mind being wrong when it means the team are benefitting. Long may it continue.
  7. Don’t worry everyone. Charnley is monitoring the situation and making plans to prepare a £2m bid in the summer.
  8. Some decent players in that Southampton side. Definitely think their defence is there to got at though!
  9. People love to be able to say I told ya so Aye that’s it like.
  10. Hawk is mocking the people who weirdly seem overly keen to write off one of our young talents. I haven’t got an opinion either way at the minute, it’s still to early to tell how good he can be as far as i’m concerned.
  11. Love the idea of VAR as i think a lot of officials are corrupt at worst and weak or incompetant at best. But the way VAR is being implimented at the minute is a joke as there doesn’t seem to be any clear way of using it, we’re seeing bizzarre and confusing incidents in almost every match. I expected there to be teething problems but they’ve made a total mess of the whole thing, it almost looks deliberate to me.
  12. Surprising that he'd outright say that sort of thing. Isn't he still an academy coach at Ipswich? Yes he is. I was surprised with his comments but that’s what he was getting at, although he distanced himself from knowing anything about the Beardsley situation.
  13. I’ve had a feeling that since they started using it, they’ve been deliberately making a pig’s ear of VAR so they have a good excuse not to use it next season.
  14. Just hope it’s Merino who comes in for him.
  15. The only time i remember it being as bad as this is when we had the likes of Scott Carson, Rob Green and an ageing David James.
  16. Any chance of removing “lovely boy” from the thread title now? So creepy!
  17. Horrible creature! Bet he stuffs a teacake down his neck every time he’s out of camera shot on Sunday Supplement.
  18. Stewart Robson purely because he ruthlessly called out Pardew for being a fraud when he got the Newcastle job - he was bang on! I like Ian Darke as a commentator, always enjoyed his voice and he’s done some good work on Newcastle goals over the years. A Beardsley rocket away at Oldham sticks out for some reason. James Richardson is a legend, love how layed back he is and always up for a laugh. Andy Brassell is excellent, class knowledge on European football. Quite like Horncastle aswell but it annoys me how he tries to show off that he can speak Italian. Literally millions of other people have the same skill so there’s no need! Shearer is class now, he’s improved loads since he first started. Lynsey Hipgrave - good presenter, she’s nice to look at, and she supports the toon, what more can you ask for? Dislikes are the usual dickheads like Souness, Savage, Merson, Owen etc.
  19. He also replaced St Christopher as the patron saint of travel when he got us into Europe. The patron St of 5th place finishes for PFMs. He showed disciples the way, he led them from the darkness and into the light of the Europa League
  20. He also replaced St Christopher as the patron saint of travel when he got us into Europe.
  21. Now that this has come up, i’m amazed he called himself “The King” and not, “God” or “The God”
