Joselu isn't good but he has scored 4 goals for us. That instantly makes him better than Luuk de Jong, Alan Smith and Emmanuel Rivière for a start. Yep. He's scored just one less than Gayle in considerably less appearances, yet many talk as if Gayle is far superior. I would argue that's just not true. Neither are good enough for us really, and there's next to nothing between the two.

He would be perfect for Stoke in their predicament like, can see that happening.

Aye read about that yesterday, withdrawing from the EBAC Northern League after 35 years in existence. Shame really. Recently had a few ex Newcastle & Middlesbrough players on their books in John Campbell & Bruno Pilatos.

Aye, from what I've seen of Adama Traore he's largely erratic whilst possessing obvious talent. Chelsea already have better than him in his position so it's a slightly strange link, particularly when they don't know who will be their manager come next season. £30m seems slightly ridiculous as well but I have no gauge of player value anymore

Ayozé Pérez (now playing for Villarreal)

Well if you buy all the best ones of the three teams it probably will We've got a squad full of recently relegated players, worked out okay for us. Almost like having a good manager actually counts for something. Yep that was my thinking too. In years gone by I perhaps wouldn't be so keen through not believing in the manager to instil a more positive, success-breeding mentality into the players via discipline and knowledge. We however have Rafa Benitez, which I still regularly find baffling & incredible that we've ended up in this situation
