Rondon for me, though I think Wilson (evidently) has more goals in him, I enjoyed how Rondon enabled us to play, really powerful but also stylish player.

I think the flat vector version they done a few years ago with just the black or white stroke modernises it enough and makes it more flexible without needing to simplify it at all from a design pov.

I wish we would just have a fucking go at them. Have some belief in ourselves, we don't even look slightly interested in playing when we get the opportunity. The mindset is just expecting to lose the ball and being ready to drop off into shape. Absolutely dreadful.

I reckon our players must dread match day. Imagine being told to play football this way every week... It's no wonder morale seems quite low.

Glad Manquillo is back in, the fact he was dropped was stupid. Been one of our most consistent players for ages now.

Good goal, his ability to change direction is superb. His game is such a blend between power/pace contrasted with subtle, artful movements. The master.

That's better than Robert's imo. That's one of the most satisfying goals I've ever seen, the way the ball spins off his foot, the distance out, the cross is far from ideal. It's a stunning goal.

Yep. He's fucking awful. He and Longstaff are hiding in the midfield. Especially Hendrick, doing that thing where a player will make it look like they're trying to find space to make themselves available but really he's hiding in and around opposition players so he's not available to receive the ball and inevitably fuck up. So non-committal and lacking courage or responsibility. Worst thing is, despite the fact he does absolutely nothing in a forward sense, when the ball is turned over, he's somehow always behind play and chasing back.

ASM through the middle again then you reckon? That's a shame, we need him back out wide.
