They really haven't, like. To impatient Newcaste fans, maybe. In my more impatient moments, I sometimes think what the fuck are they doing that's taking so long, or why can't we at least hear a proper, factual update. But in this now business world of football, there's really no obligation for the fans to be included in any capacity in the business dealings behind the scenes, as frustrating/helpless as that feels at times. It shouldn't take this long. I can only assume that the Premier League is making them change something and it will go through. It would have been rejected earlier if it wasn't going through. I believe you're not far wrong

Thought it was £15K a week? If it's £25K a week that is a solid offer tbf. Well, the rumours suggest he was offered the former by the club, and after Udinese came in, upped their offer. Problem is "Who is telling these stories?" And then "How credible are they"... Either way, there's a decent case for saying he's entitled to collect some cash as "backpay" Indeed. However should it be anywhere between 15-25, I think that's a reasonable offer given how little we have seen of him. If he was to turn it down I wouldn't be blaming the club for once.

Thought he had a chance, but when you consider Shearer didn't get going till he was 21 in the Premier League and had some career threatening injuries, there's some distance between the two in terms of quality as a centre forward. Shearer eclipses him in every single department.

Been an awful season overall tbf "Yeap" - Neesy One of the worst standards-wise across the league I think I've seen. Liverpool have been superb at times but have certainly been helped out by it in terms of running away with the title so early on.

Difficult to say much about our first game against a very poor Sheffield Utd and against 10 men a lot of the game. Did look pretty decent and fresh though. 2 team league man

Turns out every team in the Premier League is shite now apart from us and City

Don't really mind keeping Carroll on like. As long as he's like 3rd/4th choice and we get shot of Gayle and bring some proper strikers in.

Saw a very nice looking helicopter fly north over mine near the mouth of the tyne about an hour ago. Wondered... Felt exactly like the start of Commando.

What are his strengths? Always seems like a bit of a nothing player to me, although I'm sure I'm wrong as he was handed captaincy in that Southampton team for good reason I imagine.

I have to agree, but massively caveated by not watching him when he first arrived or with a real understanding of the game. But he didn't really excite me like our other French mavericks from what I seen. I hear he used to love a tab on the bus coming back from away games though A few footballers smoked, Sir Alex allowed it with his players as it would reduce their anxiety. Alcohol is the biggest issue with legal drugs and sportsman it affects your body for days. I'm very happy to read this comment whilst I walk to shop for 20 Bensons

It's such a terrible derby game this like (not just today but always)

Ancelotti has done a good job so far in giving this Everton team who have been wayfaring for years now a bit of identity and direction.

He's quality, surrounded by absolute gash Aye he's superb tbf, there's not many better outside the top 6. Wouldn't look out of place in the City team for instance and that's a massive compliment with the Silva's & KDB in his position.
