Trying to force an anthem like everything else. Like an end, nickname or regional iconography its an organic thing. They just dont have any of. Ourselves, Liverpool, Man United, Arsenal, BIrmingham, Norwich, Coventry, Portsmouth, Leeds, Southampton, Man City, West Ham off the top of my head have famous long standing songs commonly associated to the clubs by media and other fans that have been perennially sung at most games for generations. Even we didn't know that's their tune.

First thing, right at this point of the year, used to be the excitement of all the transfer rumours, wondering what the next season and future have in store, all the refreshing changes.... replaced by PSR headroom and who can sell assets to themselves and who cant.

So he's old enough to understand that a club on the up with an exciting project is attractive and a club thats currently not isn't attractive oh history alone - like all the players that chose Blackburn, Chelsea and Man City

Think the 4-1 at their place was a regular kick-off time even with more away fans than normal, what with them not coming close to selling out for their biggest game and all.

Its been made a mockery of this season. Felt like Newcastle being in the Northumberland Senior Cup or something. The expansion of the top four, top top six, to us and Villa joining in means its likely clubs from that will be in the Europa and Conference indefinitely and should be winning it. After the chaff gets weeded out its a two-legged affair against the other better teams so the one-off off-chance is reserved only for the final.

I almost feel sorry for Liverpool in the highlights now - just submerged from even before kick-off, the little looks at our end, then just bossed on the pitch. Especially if you take the underdog element out of it that was there at the time. Just looks cruel Joelinton charging around breaking up play and the flow of chances.

Surely they wouldn't want him after he allowed himself to be sportswashed. But I bet they find it in their hearts to forgive it somehow.

Seems the opposite of what happened with Keegan and Wise, which can only be a good thing. Don't know that its necessary for manager and DoF to be on the same page, different ideas and all that, but probably prefer it
