  1. Seems to me that people want to play them to rub their noses in it. But we can do that now anyway. We are superior by every measure. They'll probably never finish ahead of us again (which ALS said after the Raylor game was all that mattered). All playing them is going to do is give them the chance to go on like that's not the case if things work out for them - and they'll totally believe it if history is any gage.
  2. Seemed good, by all accounts (other than perveyors of county cricket atmospheres (if the radio is anything to go by) on RTG obviously) was. Maresca's even using it as an excuse for the card. The best atmosphere's anyone's experienced had dips, probably relative to the game. Its natural. Constant noise is only really created by cosplaying ultras and isn't actually support.
  3. I'll feel sorry for Villa because of the run their on and Forest when were there ourselves mesel like
  4. "There’s 6 teams from England next season in it, considering you can say for certainty which 12 teams in the PL definitely won’t qualify, it’s more difficult not to qualify." There's 6-7 teams qualify for Europe via the league every season....why haven't they done that once in their entire history if its that easy.
  5. I'd take it. Nothing on the game for them, no backlash from this.
  6. Want them to get thrashed but don't want to play them (or anybody decent) after a thrasing, always mindful of response
  7. 6 for City, 4 for Chelsea, 2 for Villa, 1 for Forest 1 an no goal swings for Chelsea if they don't win at Forest
  8. Losing at Arsenal wouldn't surprise anyone and then you're reliant on definitely beating Everton in a one-off game where anything can happen, just get there ourselves then decide who we'd like to be there with us.
  9. possibly, just a hunch, because they can still finish above and prevent us from qualifying for the CL.
  10. Probably hearing the other teams score and realising how easy they must be taking it, so doing the same themselves. "they're losing 2-0" "bloody hell, were not not trying enough here"
  11. Making a mockery of the PL Spurs and Man United
  12. Shameless this from Man United and Spurs, was oh so obvious too which says something about how they're seen. At least one of them is going to look like a right wanker once Europe is out the way.
  13. Hope Man United win one of their next two, doubt it severely mind,
  14. So in the instance they win every game, which they probably will except when they cant on the last day 2points to guarantee finishing above Villa 3 for Forest (pre their kick-off today) 4 for Chelsea 6 for Man City (not even thinking about that) 3 if Forest beat Chelsea, 3 for a draw, 4 if Chelsea win and 1 for Forest in that instance
  15. That would require them to be good not bad and beached and a complete inversion of reality. Other that though
  16. We'll be up for it but that's neither here nor there.
  17. Bet whatevers needed from the Forest Chelsea game goes the opposite way we want.
  18. Course we just need two wins still but could have gotten away with one or three draws if they lose here. Not ideal to have to hit the maximum you need. Were going to need someone else's result to go for us at some point I cant help but feel.
  19. Well that's an unexpected turn of events. Don't know if it makes any difference to us at all but feels like a nice fillip all the same
  20. Not okay with this. Fine the way it is. Based on the city's emblem.
  21. If being booed off after their final game, all of a couple hundred fans stopping back to show appreciation for the season, then having twelve people wave flags around and setting off flares in a car park to make up for it doesn't motiviate them then nothing will.
  22. Feel the same as all of that, plus it being their last home game, just doesn't seem like it would end in the damp squib of a three home defeats. Were provenly capable but I just think things are alligning against us winning there
  23. Supposed to stop clubs doing a Leeds and having to sell their better player, by making someone be a Leeds and having to sell their better players
  24. I like how the ones at the front after the bus passes go to double up as more fans and fill in the empty spaces down the line. Something for them to have considered for every home cup they've ever had perhaps.
  25. Its always been good and just to shift dead wood but in these PSR times its become more satisfying than signing a player
