Ginola and Tino's days were numbered as soon as Dalglish arrived tbh. His pragmatic dour style was never incorporating those players into one of his teams. Think Tino got a reprieve due to Shearer's injury. Was no need for the melodrama re Ginola's transfer to Spurs that foreshadowed the Stevenage and Derby bullshit Even though Ferdinand was an enforced sale, he wasn't enforced to spend more than he recouped for that on Andersson and Guivarch on top of Tomasson who I thought was even worse than Rush for us. At least Rush ran around.

That'll all anger the Palace "Ultra's". The fourteen of them might even wear the same t-shirt and club together to write a strongly worded letter.

For Arsenal. Nothing to them even if it doesn't work out but we have proven we could waste that easily on the outside of the elite crumbs we'd be replacing him with.

For any of them under 60, beating us (formerly finishing above) is and has been their pinnacle. There's not even a discernable desire or dream for anything more. Even pre Keegan, at our lowest ebb, we had ambitions of 'one day'. Ffs at our lowest ebb we did beat them, and it wasn't even memorable by those standards.

Terrible that. Brings shame upon mackems. I mean, wearing a shirt when not at a match was beyond the pale and a mind-blowing concept to them a year ago. The other stuff is just standard.

Aye but we could have bought some far cheaper, far less good player, fucked up any plans we had and risk the summer, so who are we to complain really? -

At the risk of future windows. Not a problem for City. -

Unfortunately several others rules mean that we cant benefit from it. -
I remember that 'dodgy defence/keeper' narrative emerging during the 93/94 season. Conceded 3 less goals than champions Man United with Schmeichel in nets and two more than them the year they pipped us to the title.

Which would have been fine if we weren't held back from strengthening ourselves in relation to that like everyone before us - including us under KK and SBR. -

All that effort and stress on Saturday for this ffs!? Just piss in my mouth and be done with it. -
Went backwards under him in every way and were just waiting to be relegated when he left. Kinnear and McLaren didn't take us discernably backwards just presided over continued shambles. Our results under Kinnear would have kept us up too. Was getting better than a point a game and 35 would have kept us up but he was living joke of a manager.

Honestly thought it was just a final FU from Ashley on his way out and we'd only have to put up with idiots running and managing the team a few more month. 13more years. FML.

Didn't sound like Brighton brought many going off the silence on their goals. Away-fan-ban esque.

Prefer lopsided to symetry aesthetically especially if its not giving up seatage Camp Nou, San Siro, Old Trafford, Anfield, Bernabeau, Croke Park, Parkhead, SJP all are or mostly have been lopsided versus a bigger identikit Southampton-Derby-Mackem-Stoke-Boro bowl Even if its just executive boxes/tier separation higher on one side and lower on the next Even as a neutral I dislike it for being so meh. Looks like a duller White Hart Lane
