In a inferior league for a dominant team, wonder if you switched them around if that stats would stay the same, suspect very much not

That's it. Reminds of the Viz celebrity cunt series where somebody supposedly has a run in with a celebrity and cuts a witty jibe on them or otherwise intimidates them but always the celebrity is the cunt in the circumstance and the narrator a hard as nails stand up guy. Just those were made up for a laugh and the mackem ones are made up for masterbatory and pain soothing material.

Yankuba Minteh (now playing for Brighton & Hove Albion)

Players have had better pre-seasons than this on the back of a good season and Holland be raved about as absolute nailed on certs to light up the league but go on to be absolutely terrible. People handled selling Gascoigne better than this. -
The alternatives would have been to not bother trying to compete above mid-table and taking a 10point deduction instead of selling a player we'd likely have loaned out this season. People moaning about the current situation could have filled their boots with that
-
don't hate the player hate the game Were through the looking glass now though, where people are chomping at the bit to have clubs deducted points across the league and where avoiding such punishment via new arbitrary legislation is the most heinous thing imaginable

Its ridiculous what Chelsea have done with the hotel and women's team Its ridiculous that they've been reduced to doing that Its ridiculous that clubs can sell players to other clubs and other assets to themselves as a work around only to have only part of the transaction recognised in terms of PSR yet recieving the full amount. and that's just a fraction of the ridiculousness how is this clusterfufck worth it just to stop Newcastle, Villa and Everton competing with the top teams?!

Wilson's been a doubt for every game for years and will remain a doubt for every game the rest of his career. For a long time its been just a bonus when's he's been available to me.

Looks like a special effect for Kwato and the guy operating the Kwato puppet

Much prefer players to be signed before most of the pre-season games, just seems to make way more sense and was the way it was until we made a window out of what was naturaly the highest trading time of the year anyway. Cant say as its been an improvement.
-
No. Though it may have improved lately because of title races or whatever even they called it the "Souless bowl" and thats based off of an old ground that had no atmosphere (bar the appearance) either. Only Brighton that I can think of have a new stadium with a better atmosphere than the old. Though again that's an improvement on getting 5000 at a athletics stadium or the old Goldstone. Some are about the same most are worse.

Press and fans were turning or dying to turn for dropping Gascoigne then came the Eileen Drury stuff at France 98, little bit for not playing Beckham and then losing to Sweden in the first game of Euro2000 qualifying. Born for the job probably, if that's not being a bit too Hoddleish.

Eddie Howe - Nominated for Manager of the Season

England and mostly the media seemed to mostly want Keegan to replace Taylor. Didn't happen but he ended up getting the job later on, after he left us. Learn from the King Eddie lad -
Eddie Howe - Nominated for Manager of the Season

The England job will come around for him again anyway, probably again in a four-five years, its just whether its this group of players or not. Even if they won something whomever managed it would be being questioned with the raised expecations if they don't win the next tournament -
Having read that article, I read this book either about Euro88 or featuring it heavily first, think it was specifically about the fans - the English hooligans, the Danish rolligans and the ability of some to go home after the games where England fans were stuck there. Was reminded of it earlier in the tournament and was going to get a copy but cannot for the life of me remember what it was called or find anything in searching that looks like it could that. Anybody know?

Though I can imagine a bunch of them huddled around excitedly educating him on their favourite topic I can Imagine that it took some explaining to a non-native English speaker. That were their rivals geographically, 'Mags' coming from Magpies our nickname, the meaning of the English term "F*ck the" and mostly their paradoxial and frequent use of it in this regard.

Which wankily makes my point and defeats your initial one better than I did. So nobody can love any club they've been involved with if they've took a salary, gotcha, and even after inverting that whole concept we'll all still be where we already were, not good for you.
-
Yeah, when was the last time a final wasn't on a Sunday evening? Think Euro 92 was a Friday but after that ?
-
Hate to break it to you given the customary sorry state of your club but your favourite players of all time (pitiful band such as they are) wouldn't have set foot in that place were it not for money.
-
Well if that ended up being the case, thank heavens these rules came in to stop clubs like City and Chelsea winning everything. Was well worth fucking everything up and punishing ambition for such a sea-change
-
I know. If it should be quiet in pre-season with an open transfer window then it should never not be - its traditionally peak time for rumours, transfer season.

Boring player, boring hair, boring manager -
What happened to only Newcastle fans wearing shirts and that being deplorable for some reason? Come to think of it what happened to sportswashing too?

Punishing a club that has no financial difficulty as we've known it for a century and a half for not having their finances in order as relates new rules by pushing them towards a situation (relegations) that effects their actual finances in old school terms and with regards the new rules.

Can charge considerably more for anything on account of the geography lottery. Fair.
