  1. It's a mistake, everyone knows it, apart from Southgate. It's like a worse situation of when Lampard and Gerrard used to be played in the same team, except now we're suffering in two positions while having a squad that could be so much more.
  2. Some players can play out of position, Foden isn't one of them and there are better options for the position he would like to play in. It was a waste of a shirt to play Foden imo, just another piss poor choice by Southgate, along with his inability to use tactics that play to the team's strengths.
  3. Fuck me, what a frustrating game that was - bloody Southgate's wank tactics, the mind boggles. We don't press enough, we're not aggressive enough, so infuriating to watch, we were lucky not to concede after sitting back so much, you wouldn't see any other 'big' team do it. We just don't have a killer instinct. On top of that, the insistence of playing Foden, he spent more time running around like a headless chicken and moving into the centre when he should be providing an outlet on the left. There's no place for him in the set up we played, should have been Olise or Gordon on the left. Fuck Gareth Southgate, utter dogshit manager.
  4. I imagine if those top 5-6 teams don't get their way they'll just up sticks and jump in with trying to set up a new European Super League again. Still, fuck them, fuck them all, we've been cheated and held back by the bastards for long enough, roll on when the Prem's stupid rules fall and their corruption is exposed.
  5. More difficult than I thought to put together a starting lineup for the tournament with who's in the squad. I think 4-2-3-1 is probably the way to go, but the biggest two areas of concern for me would be left back and who to put alongside Stones in central defence. That said, it was close for me on whether to have Saka starting on the right instead of Bowen, or Bellingham over Palmer in the middle - I know that sounds mental, but I've been really impressed by Palmer and Bellingham seems to have gone off the boil a bit recently. Let's hope a miracle happens and Southgate gets a knock to the head and starts playing more attacking, aggressive, pressing tactics... I won't hold my breath though. ... very tempted to swap Bellingham out for Palmer though.
  6. Now Southgate just needs to play to our attacking strengths instead of being overly cautious and we'll be golden
  7. Fuck sake, I'm turning this shit off as soon as the whistle's blown, don't want to see the smug, undeserving wankers celebrating, especially not that wrinkly old bastard Radcliffe.
  8. Well, this game's been a complete bag of dicks
  9. Whole game's been weird, maybe a bit 'too' weird...
  10. Less than ten minutes to go, enough time? Nah.
  11. Always thought Pep was overrated, clearly only won stuff wherever he's gone due to cherry picking the teams that can buy the trophies...
  12. Incoming goal number 3 from Man Utd...
  13. It's bonkers that Chelsea and Man Utd will be in Europe next season after the shit season they've had. Fucking tedious bollocks this, baaaaaaaah!
  14. You're not kidding, if there was ever going to be a game when Man City fail to turn up against a team who's been shit all season, it would always be a game we had something riding on. So bloody typical. This Man Utd has to be the least deserving of a trophy of any I can remember and last year's was close! FFS
  15. I think, Man Utd have to be up there with being one of the jammiest teams in history, right behind Liverpool.
  16. It's a bloody conspiracy I tell thee, Man City purposefully in cahoots with Man Utd to keep us out of Europe and away from improving further. The selfish six hate us
  17. Just once it'd be nice if being a Newcastle United fan wasn't such a f*cking drama, why can't Man City just play as well as they have in the last 35 odd games and Man Utd stay shit, bloody typical FA Cup outcome.
  18. Not when Bruno, Isak and Gordon leave for teams playing in Europe
  19. If the whole point was to drum up support, raise our commercial side outside the UK, to build a more global brand to work on helping with FFP, then we need supporters wherever we can get them. This tour will have been a failure in those terms, it's not a good look at all.
  20. Can't see an 8-0 loss, even against the youth team, looking or doing any good in the grand scheme of things. What was the point of the tour again?
  21. Damn shame if true, just no need at all.
