If we can't put him in our own actual 11 surely he can't be put in a combined one.

Wilson is imo the best striker we had in the Ashley-era. A genuinely brilliant striker at his best, but even then always susceptable to injury. The problem now is that the injuries have gone beyond the point of it still being worth keeping him and since he's been back after this most recent layoff he's looked a shadow of the player he was, with a real lack of pace. At his best, with no injury woes he'd have been a B, he was a brilliant striker.
-
At best he's a glass hammer. Very good player when he's up to speed but with a lower immunity to injury than the boy in the wicker chair in The Secret Garden. Can only be an E at this point unfortunately.

Brighton: 9th, 6th, 11th with Chelsea as their piggy bank Forest: Championship, 16th, 17th while getting a points deduction for breaching PSR. Us: 11th, 4th, 7th Stacks up pretty well imo.

I know you're trying to apply logic and reason here, but we're talking about an online fanbase that I'm criticising in part for its lack of either. It's short-termist to write off a player not being at their best despite only having started a few times, plenty of other players looking worse, and the abundance of pie still being wiped from faces from previous occasions of hastily writing players off. Just my opinion.
-
Since his most recent injury he's started 4 matches. Birmingham away, Man City away, Forest home, Liverpool away. A tough set of matches, but 2 goals vs Birmingham, an assist vs Forest, and by no means someone to single out for blame vs Man City and Liverpool. Find it mad how quickly folk will turn on our players like. If they don't immediately perform after coming back from injury they're on the chopping block with some
-
Subjectively terrible yes. I'd say those opinions are way over the top though, as is so often the case due to the short-termist outlook on here.
-
He's had limited game time and hasn't had a really good game (Birmingham aside) so naturally some people have decided he's been terrible and that he's finished.
-
Terrible my arse. Schär can't say anything like, he was the worst culprit today by quite some distance
-
Keiran Maguire, all of the local journalists. We just had to sell to meet a deadline that's now passed. Selling our best players is not moving forward unless it's a daft fee, which it won't be in the current market.
-
It's looking a lot like the 'I'm a nice guy' memes.
-
It is a bit like. By all accounts we have funds ready to go for improvements. Unless an insane offer comes in and we already know who we'd replace him with it's pointless.
-
People saying to sell him ffs
-
We were bad but this cunt did everything he could to make things 10x worse. No exaggeration to say they could have 3 players off for holding players when we were on the break. That NFL tackle on Willock not getting a yellow was about as farcical as it gets. Genuinely not fit to referee, an absolute disgrace.
-
Worst I've ever seen from him today. The amount of time he seemed to pass it directly to one of their forwards was insane. That laser-guided ball he used to have has gone now as well.
-
One of the last players I'd be singling out after that, just as he was the last time.

I fucking hate Brighton like, they're really nothing special this season but we've come unstuck against them every time. Everyone will get up a height about them again and they'll finish 9th or whatever as usual. -

Nah he was shite going forward with the added annoyance of him not defending particularly well. -
He's an idiot but I also blame the ref for the unending amount of holding and pulling that he let Brighton get away with. We knew Gordon was a hothead when we signed him, I'm surprised this is the first time it's really happened on the pitch.

About as disastrous as it's possible to get. Didn't play well, to put it mildly Absolutely everything fell for them Ref was absolutely horrific and let them off so many times Gordon misses the final Isak off with a reoccurring strain Subs made no impact Play all of extra time Still lose Fucking shite. Hated it, it felt like one of those games from the start and you could see what was going to happen when Welbeck came on a mile off. Not good enough from too many of them. Dubravka: 7.5 Trippier: 5 Schär: 2 Burn: 6 Livramento: 4.5 Targett: 6.5 Tonali: 6.5 Miley: 5.5 Bruno: 6.5 Joelinton: 6.5 Willock: 6.5 Gordon: 3 (was shit even before the red) Isak: 7 Barnes: 4.5 Murphy: 5.5 -

Brighton are doing that annoying FIFA thing where you tackle and intercept yet they somehow still always end up with the ball. West Ham at home was like that too. -
Sounds horrendous here like, hopefully a sense of injustice riles them up, because it doesn't seem like anything else will.

B for me

Joelinton's the first of the very clearly B-/C+ category that a lot of players will fill.
