Kai fucking Havertz That's criminal. The entire club that he plays for have scored fewer goals than our front 3 and only 10 more than Ivan Toney. An absurd nomination, he's been absolutely shit. Trippier and Pope aside our players that have been shortlisted aren't among our best players this season (Almiron was up to World Cup but not since), but it was entirely predictable that the star names would get picked over the actual best 2 in our defence and midfield this season.

Incidentally our rolling 38 game total is up to 74 points. IIRC we were up to 76 at one point this season and as low as 66. Seriously impressive. -
I highly recommend watching Isak's run on the match cam at 0.25 speed. Poetry in motion. Should be in black and white tbh.

Howe's record in derbies is very good so I'm happy either way.
-
Everton getting beaten off Fulham who are in that exact position is a bad omen for them I think.
-
Brighton's fixtures are insane, they're not even remotely a problem.
-
I understand the assist not being given but in terms of individual stats, situations like that are a bit of a problem and can make a big difference when you're just looking at stats to see how useful a player is. Willock's Leicester assist for Bruno last season not being given comes to mind.

It's that pointless VAR stat that counts decisions alone, without any regard for non-decisions and/or wrong decisions

Don't want to jinx it, but as soon as we won that Wolves match, one of the Bournemouth lads was straight on here saying it was a classic Howe breaking-a-lull win and that we'd go on another winning streak now. He was absolutely bang on. -
Anah, I've had to resort to spending time with my loved ones.

Injury records notwithstanding, they're 3 big upgrades like, all absolute quality.

James Maddison (now playing for Tottenham Hotspur)

There's no player who's better for cheaper that isn't a big gamble like. He's more or less a dead cert to get you about 15 assists a season, that's KDB territory. -
Spurs or Man United

Absolutely buckled at Paully appearing after the first goal
-
He surely had long covid after the World Cup like. Unless it was general tiredness, the drop off from the player we know he is was extreme.
-
Rob Palmer's good I think. Commentated on us vs Fulham away this season and his exasperation features heavily on thousands of Messi compilations.

Drury's the worst of the lot and has been for years. I genuinely hate the patronising, pretentious cunt It's a proper dagger to my heart that a new generation seemingly think he's some sort of beautiful orator. No I'm not being dramatic

One of the Loaded Mag lads is a scouser and watched it last night amongst the home support I bet that was an absolute masterclass in schadenfreude like.

Eventually the majority will be sick to the back teeth of Wrexham. It doesn't matter how good something may be, anything that gets this much of the limelight eventually ends up getting on people's nerves.

Football is far too chaotic for me to think it's done like. Arsenal fans thought it was done 2 or 3 games ago and now it's almost certainly all over. Really confident though obviously. Last night was a massive step for me, if we do what you would expect us to do and win on Sunday I'll probably lose the residual worry about us being the Newcastle that I've known for the best part of the last 30 odd years. -
I love how he pulls Godfrey's clown trousers down, goes through 2 Everton goons, meets Godfrey on the other side and then boops his clown nose.
