  1. Christ, we're missing Joelinton so much like. Delighted for Wood. Probably been our best player so far as well.
  2. No real issue with Krafth playing, but Joelinton being missing and Salisu starting for them are blows. 2-1 to them.
  3. Never thought I'd see Chapo on here
  4. All of the lock the thread nonces will be first against the wall when the N-O revolution comes.
  5. It's why that 'no team has failed to win X amount of games and stayed up' fact was daft when we were sat with more points via draws than teams who'd got fewer points than us via wins and stayed up.
  6. Reading those quotes from him about stars and flair I know I'd have absolutely hated him as a manager.
  7. "No choice" according to 'Fletch' and Peter Defaulton. Soft as fuck.
  8. Wonder what VVD was doing there?
  9. Thiago's a proper 'streets won't forget' footballer isn't he? Feel like I played with a few lads like him growing up.
  10. It's definitely happened before, IIRC that's how a doctor in America lost his medical license.

    Sunderland

Mackem lad at work reckons they've signed really young players on loan from the likes of Man City and Leeds in key positions who are talented, but aren't developed enough and don't have any experience of playing full seasons. And now they're absolutely knackered. Don't know anything about any of their players though so who knows how much truth is in that.
  12. Love the idea of some Dick Dastardly manager taking it that far, with all of the intricate planning, pay offs, and people who would need to be in on it, then Southampton just get one of their players to sit down.
  13. Said it at the time and a few others did, but that stat definitely didn't pass the eye test.
  14. Jamie Reuben liked a reply to it saying "Why are we still going for Kamara ???" so I'm not sure about that one.
  15. £10m cheaper and 2 years younger than Digne. Looks defensively sound and has been a solid 7/8 out of 10 each match so far. Absolute no-brainer.
  16. Does Lampard not think tactics should account for the likelihood that your players will make mistakes? If you don't have good enough defenders, why are you pushing them up to the halfway line vs Kane and Son? Beggars belief.
  17. 3 shots on target in Everton's last 3 away games. Jesus Christ
  18. It does, but it also makes me wonder about how our environment might have brought out the best in other players too.
  19. Was listening to a Spurs fan talk about Doherty and apparently it's night and day with him depending on whether he's playing as a RWB in a 343 or a RB in a back 4.
  20. TBF, I've given Lampard the benefit of the doubt of being a bit of an unknown entity. Managers learn from mistakes obviously but this is such a blatantly obvious one that I'd have turned on him over this.
