Possibly the most important example of how the focus of the club on engagement with the community can make a meaningful difference, not just in raising awareness but in normalising human experience and making it ok to talk about (perhaps particularly in men—75% of people who commit suicide are male; but males make up only a third of people who use Talking Therapy services).

Can’t see Sane being on Howe’s radar. He’ll be 28 in January and probably pricey. Doesn’t seem to fit the profile. He also seemed a bit disruptive/unsettled at Man City. Though maybe he’s not difficult personality wise, and it was just relationships at Man City or dissatisfaction with game time (didn’t seem to play much for a period or be relied upon/trusted). Good record for Germany though, 13 goals in 55 games.
