Doesn’t the release of this information mean it’s totally fucked? I thought the government was on our side and reading some of this email stuff it seems to me that they didn’t and can’t have any influence in pushing this through even though economically it’s a no brainer to get the deal done.

I thought they’re going to start trailing this instant hawk eye system for offsides soon. It seems to have worked really well in the tennis for line calls. Pretty sure I read that somewhere, but who knows.

I think it’s very useful for offside decisions as these are hard to call for linesman due to the speed of the game. But they need to improve how it’s used for that because it’s still not working like it should
