Seems plausible to me. The PL didn’t follow their own rules (that @Jackie Broon always explains so well) and stopped a takeover which is anti competitive
-
Surely it ain’t happening now because here has been a delay in announcing it since the news broke.
-
Who would you even test as part of the KSA? The whole royal family or the country or just the Prince…. it doesn’t seem logical that would interpret ownership in this way and make demands of a buyer. I guess it’s about transparency to the PL, but what legal basis do they have to make this type of claim when the buyers are the ones submitting the documentation on ownership

Rafa with only his four trophies in the last 8 years is no good for a Tottenham or Everton side that have won nothing in that same time
-
Andy Gray is such a prick - “Rafa hasn’t done anything since he left Liverpool”
-
As much as I love Rafa, I’m hoping we can get someone like Conte instead if a takeover goes through
-
Not sure the commentators are giving that goal the praise it deserves
-
Denmark v Finland back on at 7.30pm too
-
I’d rather have Shola

Leicester getting Soumare and Edouard is great business
-
Thought he was decent today in the England game and should really get the call up now that Trent is out. Would be a great signing for Villa
-
Under new ownership I could see this happening, but we couldn’t afford him now and he wouldn’t come here
-
Kane really needs to get out of Spurs this year. Conte turning Spurs down because he doesn’t see them competing for the top honours or signing players to do that, tells Harry all he needs to know
-
Seems like something we would do and probably makes sense given that there’s no money for transfer fees
-
You’re also assuming Bruce would be sacked straightaway - I can’t see that happening as much as we all want it
-
That will be that then
-
It would be good business getting Abraham on loan, but not sure on this Gilmour kid as I haven’t see a lot of him.
-
It seems that the scenario was that the PL stated the information given was not correct - ‘we don’t believe the information given to us on owners proposed so we can’t test you’.... In that scenario, the outcome is that the PL have to either fail the bidders according to the rules or offer arbitration. Surely they will argue that they have done everything correctly even if the rules appear different on paper.

I really want to be back having these big European nights for our side. It’s sad to think that we were right up there with Chelsea before they started spending billions
-
This is why I will never understand this whole thing. How can the PL not make a decision on their own process! There has to be more to this whole thing from their side and this makes me worried that the PL are primed to shaft us. The legal arguments or rules for the owners test (*not necessarily sure if legality is what arbitration actually looks for) around the whole pass or fail have to been in our favour given the rules are in black and white
