No shit! I also saw that Chelsea still owe roughly 70m to Inter for Lukaku. So I doubt they'll be selling hin anytime soon as I can't see anyone wanting him for anything near that.

Watford v Leeds on 9th April and then Burnley v Norwich on 10th. Alot hinges on those 2 games for those 4 clubs. Everton play us and then West Ham before playing Man U on the 9th so that weekend will be massive in the relegation stakes.
-
Not sure I'd want any of them. Raphina is the only one who comes close and even he has shown in recent weeks he is the same as every other wide player, he blows hot and cold. Norwich, Watford, Burnley, Leeds and even Everton have no player I would be desperate to sign in the summer.
-
Definitely worth a bottom 6 Prem side taking him. Middlesbrough, Huddersfield, Blackburn would be good for him if any of them get promoted this year. Or ofcourse Burnley as has been mentioned. If Grant Hanley and Craig Cathcart can play Premier League football so can Lascelles.

Last game before the break! Would be great to win this convincingly but any win will do really. Just need to go off on our training camp in good spirits and well withing touching distance of the teams above us. Hopefully after the break everyone will be back to full fitness and we can begin our new unbeaten run till the end of the season. Everton are there for the taking, just concerned we're getting to the point where we have just one too many injuries to function properly. One injury to Wood or Targett/Burn in the next day or two and we look so much weaker. -
Also, how much of a shirt pull would cause a player to go down, arguably in that position a shirt pull would keep Murphy on his feet. Therefore how much shirt and how aggressively does it need to be pulled before you get a foul. Or is shirt pulling only for non penalties now else they'd be giving them during every corner and free kick

The fact the he gave the corner says that he thought Chalobah got the ball, he didn't ofcourse and that's where VAR should be telling him to look at the monitor! But as we know, they didn't.

Isn't 100% fit clearly. Will need him firing against Everton. Fairly average for the most today against tired legs.

Don't want to give that last game anymore thought than I already have. Glad this one is coming quick! The players will want a chance to get back on it. -
No one on here should be bad mouthing Chris Wood after that. We had so little of the ball (27%) and he closed down everything and chased and did what he could against 3 CBs. So few chances created today, would've been a miracle if he'd had scored. Everyone talking about this game being a free hit and then getting on his back immediately because he hasn't single handedly won us the game.

Feel sorry for the players, they didn't deserve to lose like that. Chance to put it to Everton now and show everyone how we keep going.
-
Imagine we actually NEEDED to win that! I'd be incensed. Stonewall penalty ignored(not even checked on VAR as far as I could tell) and Havertz getting away with an extremely dangerous and high elbow. Goes without saying its a different game if both those go how they should of.
-
Damn Almiron! Good half for everyone. 2nd half Is going to be much harder.
-
Southampton will come back. 2-1 at HT.
-
That line up has shook me to my core. Don't know what to make of it. I'm holding judgement till HT.
-
Harsh to write him off just yet. Toney and Armstrong are 2 obvious examples that players can come good after actually getting some game time. Not saying he will ever be good enough for the Prem but he's better than L2 for sure.

Before Christmas everyone (pundits/fans) was saying it would be 3 from 4 to go down, including us in that. Now it's arguably 3 from 6 to go down and we aren't one of those 6. I wouldn't have included Brentford in that 6 if it weren't for the fact that they play 4 of the bottom 5 in their last 10 games. So if they don't win the majority of those the teams below then will catch up fairly quick.
-
Depends where Wolves finish the season but Bruno Lage will be in with a shout if they get into Europe. He's done well with a squad of similar quality to West Ham and they are extremely good defensively.
-
I agree, especially considering the fixture congestion, the disruption to our usual routine this week/weekend and accumulation of injuries. No doubt Howe will still be going to win the game but I think as long as we put in a decent performance we can get something from this or atleast keep ourselves in the game till the end.

Insanity. What has happened here. Truly wonderful win. That is it now! I feel confident enough not to give a shit about what the other teams below us do.

Wtf! Blow the whistle dickhead.

Creepers.

Might get shouted down for this but I'd take Ayling. He's versatile and gives it his all.
