    Jacob Ramsey

I think he shows promise when he does play and you can see his strengths. Strange he hasn’t been given more opportunities but Burnley at home feels like a great time to give him a PL start

    Anthony Elanga

I hope you’re right and still believe he can. But just because people are annoyed that a player who cost almost £60m looks like he can’t do the basics, let alone have a real impact in pretty much every game he plays doesn’t make them ‘boo-boys’ and are more than entitled to share concerns on a forum.

    Joelinton

As mentioned. Good defensively and poor offensively. In games like that where the opposition is offering nothing the midfield should be three of Tonali, Bruno, Miley and Ramsey to try and get control of the game. If Tonali is out I would like to see Ramsey, Miley and Bruno on Saturday to give us that control

    Anthony Elanga

Not really watched him but based on what I’ve read we needed someone like Akliouche who has a very high ceiling but offered something different to what we have now. I get why we signed Elanga but it hasn’t worked and the main problem is that he can’t do the basics right. His touch and pass are horrendous, hopefully it’s confidence and that will come in time. Murphy was awful today so we really needed a good option to replace him and Elanga was just as bad, such a shame
  5. They’re both not good enough for where we are now so it’s the lesser of two evils for me which is Ramsdale. If the only Pope issue was his passing I would accept him playing but he has made so many errors this year as well. Desperately need a new goalkeeper
  6. No problem with Hall for the first goal personally. Burn has to cover that front post but also very good from Romero
  7. What are they on about in the studio? Making out that we maybe edged the game and Spurs deserved some luck, they were absolutely horrific and we should have won comfortably
  8. If we have been after him for a couple of years then get him in. We rarely miss, just look at Thiaw who we were after for two years despite negative noise
  9. Possibly a striker but depends how Wissa settles when he does play and if Osula goes. Would rather keep Osula as I think he is developing pretty well now, shame he is injured because he would have got some decent minutes over the last month I reckon.
  10. Concerned about Hall and Tino playing so regularly after injuries but they both have to play tomorrow. Maybe rest one of them against Burnley and the other against Leverkusen if they do need a rest ready to both be available for Sunderland and can then rest both for the Carabao Cup game when hopefully Trippier could be back. Desperately need cover in January as early as possible. Once Wissa is back our depth everywhere else is refreshingly brilliant.
  11. What’s Sturridge chatting, looked as bad in high speed for me
  12. Booking for that and the commentator even agrees with it 😂. Games gone!
  13. Very difficult to police but you shouldn’t be allowed to retake it when it’s to do with your technique but I think it should be retaken when you slip. As mentioned don’t think you can police that really but just feels wrong that he’s not punished for taking a shit penalty
  14. Thanks to players like Miley we can rotate our best players and still win games. Just need depth at full back now and I would be confident resting any of our starting eleven and still winning games

    Nick Pope

It’s not just the errors though. He shouldn’t be starting for us based on his inability to kick the ball. Confidence starts from the back and he restricts us so much

    Nick Pope

Ramsdale has mistakes in him but at least he can pass the ball so will help us in that way. He has to start on Saturday!

    Nick Pope

So frustrating because there is slim to no chance that Thiaw gets beaten in that situation and Pope just fucked it. Has to be dropped before he costs us more points but we know he won’t be
  19. Why the fuck did Pope take that last free kick? Cost us that game anyway and Howe needs to drop him
