  1. "2 months since our last home win.." FFS, feel like this is a movie we've all seen before!
  2. On the presser bit, I find it bizarre how every club/country has a press officer sitting at the end of the table for every single one of these yet managers and coaches still find themselves being asked and answering random non-football-related questions or things they won't necessarily know the answer to. See Taylor, L asking Howe about the clinical definition of gambling addiction or whatever it was, Carsley and the national anthem, Southgate and goodness knows what, that time Howe was asked about executions, howay man.
  3. "Another group of thugs who will try to make use of any kind of setpiece opportunity." Thread is a sensational read isn't it. Plenty of them seemingly going to get a shock when Ugarte isn't starting or on the bench either
  4. Gameweek 19 Leicester 1-3 Man City Palace 2-1 Southampton Everton 1-1 Forest Fulham 2-2 Bournemouth Spurs 2-1 Wolves West Ham 1-3 Liverpool Villa 2-1 Brighton Ipswich 1-3 Chelsea Man United 1-2 Newcastle Brentford 1-2 Arsenal Gameweek 20 Spurs 1-2 Newcastle Villa 3-0 Leicester Bournemouth 2-1 Everton Palace 1-2 Chelsea Man City 3-1 West Ham Southampton 1-1 Brentford Brighton 1-2 Arsenal Fulham 2-0 Ipswich Liverpool 3-1 Man United Wolves 2-2 Forest
  5. 😂😂😂😂😂
  6. Yeah, was a weird sub. Said to my lad I'd have left him on and still did Bailey on the other side as he looked lively aswell. Bizarre they kept trying to go long to Watkins when Burn and Fabi were bossing him. But enough of how the opposition could have gotten to us 😅
  7. Without getting too carried away or sounding disrespectful to any of the rest of our lads, who I love to a man, seeing this guy in our team is like watching Usain Bolt running the 100m 15 year ago. Everyone's doing the same thing, but they're not.
  8. Thought Onana was excellent for them today and Rogers looked bright 2nd half but other than that we've brushed aside a fairly average team without doing anything special ourselves. Which means we're fucking mint
  9. 3 - 0 on your big day out did you say?
  10. Quality-wise I feel this is a very average game. Keep our heads and we win this by 3 or 4, no drama needed at all
  11. Thanks to work connections I typically get to go to our games at the Etihad and Anfield most seasons in the posh seats, I generally have no problem being clandestine and "on best behaviour" etc but the outrage when someone has the temerity to put a tackle in or sometimes even get within 2 yards of their player...fuck me
  12. 100%. I know there's lots of reasons for Man City's current "struggles" but Pep's teams have always been pretty ropey defensively it's just that teams are/were always too scared to have a go so just hoof it and give them the ball back so they can re-organise.
  13. Some hairy moments today ending in three points being added next to Newcastle United Football Club's name in the league table. Howay the Lads!
  14. Some decent odds available from various bet builder combos of Man City's wingers vs Everton's full backs. Doku & Savio to assist or score + Coleman & Mykolenko to get booked offering around 100s. Went for Doku to assist and score + Coleman card at 55s

Aye he is, the bloke is a total bellend of the highest order. I hear he puts on a good meat raffle though and gets everyone laughing at that Dave the Rave bloke
  16. Aye, everything about this day was great too
  17. The last 10-15 minutes against West Ham. When we made it 2-3 I fancied us to win, when Barnes went through for the equaliser I've not felt more certain and confident someone was going to score in a long time, and the winner speaks for itself. That was all even more significant for me as I really felt at 1-3 things were on the edge of turning pretty nasty in the stadium that day in terms of towards the manager, kind of felt like all the frustrations of last season to date were about to explode. And then Kalvin Phillips came on. Cheers Moyesy!
  18. Gameweek 18 Man City 3-0 Everton Bournemouth 2-1 Palace Chelsea 3-1 Fulham Newcastle 2-1 Villa Forest 2-2 Spurs Southampton 1-1 West Ham Wolves 1-2 Man United Liverpool 4-0 Leicester Brighton 2-1 Brentford Arsenal 4-0 Ipswich
  19. Don't know about the domestic stuff but when Ramos got injured he tried Asensio as a false 9 which worked I think, although I've even seen them play Dembele through the middle aswell so Enrique might not just fancy him in any of three forward positions for whatever reason, every time I've seen them this year I'm sure it's been Doue or Barcola left and Kang-in Lee or Dembele right.

Just standard mackem "say it enough times and it becomes true in our minds" bullshit isn't it. If you're from Durham you're scum if you don't support the mackems. If you're from Ashington and support the mackems you're as pure as snow is white, marra. Same as all the shite when they keep on about strongholds. I grew up in Shiney Row and there and Penshaw was exactly the split you described, as was school in Washington. Fucking sad mackem bastards getting wound up about all that bollocks and thinking it means anything other than that they're absolutely fucked in the head.
