Just make it 69,069 capacity. No-one will complain.

Agreed, we should start an annual preseason Kevin Keegan Cup [in association with Sela] - us vs Hamburg, with a £200million prize pool
-
But I do so love a No. 9!

Whately's NUFC, though doesn't sound like football's his first love: "I enjoy sport and naturally I support Newcastle United, but rugby is my game and I might manage to sit still long enough to watch a match if I'm not playing golf." - https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/celebritynews/my-perfect-weekend/4807130/My-Perfect-Weekend-Kevin-Whately.html I do remember an outtake from Auf Wiedersehen Pet where he's in bedroom with the football on the radio and messes up the take because Newcastle scores a goal. Edit found it:

Open top bus parades have an end of year feel to me. We've still got 10 games to go and a champions league place to fight for. After such a massive high it can be easy for following games to just feel underwhelming. Look at us after that PSG game for example. Nothing was going to live up to that high and games after just felt flat in comparison. Basically, I'm more concerned about over-celebrating right now, though obviously I sound like an absolute geography teacher for saying so. Edit: have a parade end of season if we really need one.

Honestly, Murphy just drilling some balls in wouldn't be the worst thing in a game like this. He's actually a very nice striker of the ball.
-
Was thinking that. Against a low block it's so congested in the middle I'm a big believer you often just want someone to get to the byline drill it into the box and cause some chaos. Foden just wants to go inside all the time. If you're going to do that you need a really good attacking fullback who can do the byline stuff.

Amazing. So great for him. Wonder if it's worth putting a punt on him to score the winner in the WC final.

This is rather well done:

Respect to Pards there for quickly dropping in 'they got well beat yesterday' when Sunderland fans were mentioned.
-
Osula seems like a really happy positive person. Jacob Murphy vibes in that respect.
-
He's an A. Put him in Man City, Arsenal, Liverpool, Real Madrid, Barcelona etc and he'd look absolutely at his level. A great playmaker and a great tough tackling midfielder all in one.
-
It's the reaction speed that made him a great goalkeeper!
-
Feel like the Angel of the North needs a new shirt.
-
Judging from the 2nd semi-final fancy match cam they're probably putting a lot of work into this one.
-
If mods can change avatars you might see it soon!

Newcastle, Newcastle, Newcastle. Newcastle!

Love how Tonali gets booked for time wasting then still takes another 25 seconds to take the corner.
-
True, but it's also experience preparing for premier league games and less familiar foreign teams with limited time and extra travelling and fatigue.
-
I just can't get over how tiny Robertson's right arm is.

One other thing with being in the conference league: it does give the club, and particularly management, more experience of dealing with the extra european workload over a season. Eddie's only had one 6 game European run in his career. Given how it looks like our previous finals experience helped us a lot with the League cup this year, just getting the extra experience would be a good thing. Whether it would be worth it I dunno, but experience is one thing you can't get for nothing.

Probably, there was maybe a 30s VAR pause for Isak's disallowed goal. 30-60s for Isak's actual goal as pretty long celebrations. Joelinton/Isak injury a minute and a half at least, probably the same for Sandro when Bruno slid into him. 3 sub instances for Liverpool and 3 for us. Think you add 30s for each of those, plus Isak had gone down for a bit before he went off and Murphy was hobbling around like a limp chicken so maybe even longer for slow subs. Plus bits added here and there for general timewasting.

Still can't believe we actually did a thing!

You do wonder, if we just had Salah at RW how many more points we'd have.
