  1. He could score 0 goals. Just be fit enough so we can protect Isak in the last 20 minutes of games. Although I’m sure Eddie will start easing Osula into the fold a bit more.
  2. Given Trippier Botman Woodgate Bernard Solano Bruno G Lee Robert Shearer Isak
  3. Sounds similar to Sheff Utd. It’ll be nice to have another club voting with us on PSR issues.
  4. Best part for me (same applies for Man Utd) is that we deserved to start as favourites, we played as favourites and deserved our win. Avoid injuries and we’ll finish top 4.
  5. Was he the twat that blew bang on 5 mins against Liverpool?! But happily plays for an extra couple today?!
  6. Carragher did a good piece on it after the game. He couldn’t see the ball coming in, so rather than go goalside he did the opposite and left Isak. Second goal he was weak also.
  7. 2-0 and playing very well. Yet the poison of doubt is always with us.
  8. Exact same here plus away fan videos on YouTube. Whenever we don’t win I avoid everything.
  9. Never quite works this way, but I think us getting 12 to 15 more away points this season will get us top 5. Our home fixtures will get us the remaining 20 to 25 points.
  10. 3 x Barnes goals for me: 4-3 West Ham 2-1 Wolves 3-1 Forest Special mention to beating the SMB 3-0
  11. Masterful performance. Love seeing the Wolfpack in midfield led by this man!
  12. I’m no way qualified to fully answer this, but a combination of: - new stadium - player trading (e.g. Tottenham sold Bale, Modric etc.) - sale of mid-level youngsters in a couple of seasons - more and bigger commercial arrangements - gradual increase in co-efficient/revenue through some European seasons - rule changes… another fluke Champions League finish It’s not going to be easy or quick, but I think there are reasons to still be optimistic. It’s definitely not impossible.
  13. We’re about £200m behind commercial to Tottenham alone. They were in a similar position to us about 6 years ago significantly behind other clubs. While it’ll take time, the correct approach and strategy will see us growing and eventually challenge for titles. Even within the PSR/APT rules. Hopefully we’ll get a few Saudi boosts along the way to help/accelerate (e.g. new stadium). So while the dream maybe isn’t happening as quickly as people hoped, with patience then it most definitely remains possible/probable.
  14. Don’t start Longstaff. The performance and result will follow if Eddie does that.
  15. I can understand transfer funds issue due to PSR and ATP. But don’t feel like we have been as aggressive in maximising commercial revenue as we could. Also feels like they’ve spent minimum possible on facilities. Stadium decision will be key.
  16. I worry a lot about the quality of his coaching team. Tindall is the defensive coach - would any other club in the Premier League trust him to manage the defense? Not sure if we have a set piece coach - if so, they’re also hopeless. Also, unsure what the rest of Eddies team do, but I assume they’re all lower league who worked their way up with Bournemouth. Anyway - he deserves the cup quarter final at the least. But lose that then surely he’s gone unless the owners are happy to write off this season.
  17. At the start of the season it felt like the beginning of the end. Think we’re now in a position where it’s nearing end of the end. He’s just got too many flaws and don’t think we have time for him to learn on the job.
  18. Longstaff and Murphy start. He really doesn’t help himself at times… I look forward to the triple sub on 60 minutes
  19. Main take away from me is that PIF’s intention remains for us to be #1 and win the lot, but with an acceptance due to PSR that’s a longer term goal now.
  20. I’d like to see a Isak/Wilson combo played against the low block teams. Sometimes you just need bodies in scoring areas for the chances to fall to.
  21. What makes the full time whistle part worse is that you know he doesn’t do that if it was a Liverpool attack. I don’t think referees are consciously biased, but they know they get a lot more attention getting a Liverpool decision wrong compared to say a Brentford decision wrong.
  22. Feels similar to the Forest game. If we play well, we win. If we don’t play well, then draw or could easily be a defeat.
  23. I get why Murphy is starting, but bloody hell. Roll on the day his name is nowhere on the team sheet.
