Thats why im not worried whether McClaren stays or goes ...if they get Benitez or Pearson .... The fcb bought this club to make money out of it ...no other reason and hes not about to cede control re the finances so a proper manager can wheel and deal ... We are getting relegated ...come what may ..and hopefully we are staying down until the fcb leaves ...The Ashley era i think , will end within the next couple of years ..not with a bang , but with a whimper . Seen publicly getting on a train for a supposed meeting, papers all over the place saying they're sounding out other managers. Total shitbags. From a non neutral perspective I think anyone with an ounce of self respect would have walked at the weekend but given the way he's been treated since certainly by now.
