To be fair I think if we'd never experienced the likes of Pardew and Carver then I'd probably think McLaren was a knob just based off how bad hes done, but I think hes a decent enough bloke just not good enough, I think he had a similar vision to all of us at the start but he wasnt up to it.

Pardew and Carver needed a public stoning.

McClaren just needs to be taken out the back and put out of his misery.

Cant believe the f***ers have another day off like. Utter farce of a club

no training, so time to have meetings, right?

I'm clutching at anything hopeful right now.

We only train for three hours a day, the idea thats why theres been no meetings?

Am not a McLaren fan but it's an absolute joke on how we ( nufc ) are treating him,he's still a human at the end of the day..

Honestly whats wrong with people? Still a human? What does that even mean :anguish:

To be fair I agree, it's an abominable way to treat an employee. I don't think he's anywhere near good enough but I dunno I don't have the personal emnity against McClaren I had with Pardew, he's just not very good.

Bullshit, it's like if you started a new job, had a 9 month review where it emerged you had acheived absolutely nothing and were failing in every aspect of this job. Then being surprised and crying foul to learn the company were looking at alternatives.

The concept of sacking someone without a replacement in mind is stupid.

I don't see how he's being treated badly.

"We are hiring someone else to replace you. Until then we expect you to continue doing the job we are paying you for."

What's so wrong with that?

Saw someone make a good point on twitter, arguably the same people who ripped into McClaren when in charge of england, and turned him into parody are now decrying his current treatment

Was the same with SBR. Press have no shame

That's some wild embedding

It's an attempt to join in the amateurish nature of the whole week.

Aye, just find it really hypocritical that all of a sudden, they care about his "dignity" They crucified him when he was national manager

 how does he deserve it?

Based on what Guillem? He's failed at his "top jobs" and most of his others. His major success was at FC Twente which nobody can take away from him to be fair and getting Boro to a European final is an achievement but other than that I can't think of much success.

Time and time again he has been found out. When he was appointed my black and white tinted glasses where well and truly in effect, I actually thought he could do a decent job, maybe that was based that he couldn't be as incompetent as Pardew and Carver :(
