AyeDubbleYoo
I can definitely remember saying I thought Smith was going to be a decent signing.
TheGuv
I can definitely remember saying I thought Smith was going to be a decent signing. Same. Especially after that goal he score in pre-season His only goal 1 fucking goal man
ilikenewcastle
I can definitely remember saying I thought Smith was going to be a decent signing. I was massively excited about 07-08. A manager who was much better than the two that came before him, a new billionaire owner, some decent looking signings. What could go wrong?
Tsunami
West Ham apparently want Benitez for next season. David Gold thinks West Ham are some major contender being a London club moving to the Olympic Park. There's big trouble brewing behind the scenes, next season could be fun down there. Ronaldo
In other words we aren't beating West Ham under any circumstances.
Guest
The first England strike force at the new Wembley was an all-Newcastle front line wasn't it? (Owen & Smith) Remember as well The Chronicle harping on for ages how Allardyce turned down the chance to sign Elano (before he went to City) for Smith. Hated him. Ronaldo
The first England strike force at the new Wembley was an all-Newcastle front line wasn't it? (Owen & Smith) And both of them barely played for England again after it.

Dave
Catching up on MOTD and they've been on about how West Ham fans should 'be careful what they wish for' etc. He's won 35 of 114 Premier League games with them, 31%. Fucking shite man, it's a disgrace how lightly he gets off in the media.

Guest neesy111
Shearer used Bolton as an example, they got relegated 5 years after he left.

ilikenewcastle
I can see his point, Bolton and Blackburn were obviously worse without him. Doesn't sound like any of the West Ham fans will miss him though, wonder if southern media folk will mention that if West Ham do badly next year... newsted
Still furious that "experts" maintain that if we hadn't binned this hippo-headed monstrosity we wouldn't have been relegated a year and a half later. Annoyingly they'd be factually correct, he would have accelerated it by a year. They were lauding the fat mess on (cringe) Soccer Saturday earlier and hoyed up a graphic showing that sunderland are in exactly the same position as when he arrived. Not sure what they proved by that. If I needed any extra motivation to want them down, this would do it, I need this fucking myth busted.
Ronaldo
I've got to admit, seeing him and Sunderland relegated together would be pretty fucking arousing. Sadly I can't fully see it, yet.
