Whichever game I heard was the one with the chopper. (Just checked, must have been Liverpool as it was dark plus fireworks ?) At least 45 minutes late starting and when it did start they did the longest auction ever trying to sell some glass football figures when all people wanted to do was just see the three lads talk about football Loads of people had to miss the end to catch buses/trains and considering the cheapest ticket was £50 I'd have been miffed not to have seen it all

nufcjb
Wish he'd come back one final time to SJP so that we can all say thank you and goodbye if he wants to stay away from the club forever after that.

He needs a statue outside of it as well as he helped build it. Without Keegan there's no Shearer.

I still think the East stand should have been named after him. Perhaps if we remain at SJP, the new East Stand could be named in his honour? edit: the statue of Robson is still mystifying to me btw. Without Keegan there’s potentially no Newcastle Utd… Love the bloke me… fuckin love him… The king of Newcastle… get that stand named after him or a statue up as soon as possible.. Chris_R
I hope it's a very long time before Keegan gets a statue. Statues are for dead people, once their legacy is finalised.

Thomson Mouse
I’m surprised there’s not been anything named after Frank Watt tbh, his influence in the early days was massive
Monkey Alan
He knows an appearance at SJP would turn into 90 minutes of worship. Behind the childlike enthusiasm for life, the bike races, the helicopters and the smash hits, there's a charmingly modest man. In some ways, walking away quietly into the sunset like Mr Bergstrom is the perfect Kevin Keegan goodbye.
