NEEJ
Started reading Touching Distance this afternoon. Wish they'd give Keegan's toon story the Maradona documentary treatment, like.

relámpago blanco
Is it the right time for him to lead us to a Trophy? I don't think his methods would work now but I would love it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jmq6iDvtK2k

WarrenBartonCentrePartin
Get him on the board. Wouldn't go that far. Just needs to be back in a part-time ambassadorial role. Let him do corporate matchday events and have him on hand to meet and speak to young 'uns were bringing into the academy and their parents.
Carlito
Provided he wanted it, give him the managers job. Keegan with financial backing would lift the entire city, and give us attacking football.

Guest
I don’t think I’d want him in a football capacity. There in the seats where Ashley & Charnley sit now every home game though would be class.

Kanji
An honorary role, with no say on the football - let him smile again in his old stadium. Get a stand named after him and Sir Bobby. Call it a day after that.

Bobby Robson was 69 when we finished 4th. not apples to apples at all. Sir Bobby had only taken 1 year off from management since 1968/1969 and that was in the 1997/1998 when he was "upstairs" at Barcelona. Keegan has not managed a football club since 2008. Doesn't matter. Keegan was and always has been a motivator who could do that better than just about anybody. He could still attract players here, he could still get the best out of them, and he could still get the team playing good football. How long he's been away from the game is irrelevant. People thought he was going to fail miserably when he came back in 2008 but we played our best football under him since Sir Bobby was here.
