So, will Torres stay or go?

If Suarez arrives at Anfield, Torres will go. Do people realise that? 2:27 PM Jan 26th via Twitter for iPad

Always apprehensive about strikers coming from Holland, after some recent big money signings have turned out to be flops (Kezman, Alves, Huntelaar, Tomasson etc) but then Kluivert can be used as an example of leaving Holland and achieving better things

Is Kluivert the only striker you can think of who came from the Dutch league and proved successful outside of Holland? How about Van Nistelrooij, Bergkamp, Makaay, Haisselbank, Van Persie, Van Basten and Gullit and Ronaldo to name a few..?

Makaay was definitely under-rated. seem to remember he scored a hat-trick the same night rooney did in the champion's league, no-one noticed cos of that.

some other good strikers who made the move from dutch league - Larsson, Gudjohnsen. Van Hooijdonk would've been a success had he not been an arse. Litmanen always looked good too, despite never playing quite as well outside of the netherlands.

Not in general although i guess Shearer/Sutton are two which help his cause although he had a mixed bag for us: Tomasson, Dallish jnr, Rush, Coppinger, Robinson and his two masterstrokes Andersson & Guivarc'h.........
