When he played for Argentina in the world cup he played there and was brilliant

Sure you are not mistaking him for Riquelme?

Not really seen much of him but isnt he more in the Owen/Martins category? I would have thought we should go for more a target man sort of striker. Thats not to say I wouldnt take him.

Don't ask, just reporting what I read, it basically stated he's showing little enthusiasm regarding a move here and we're "baulking" at his wage demands.

No doubt we'll sign him up then.

How can we be baulking at his wage demands when it's a loan deal?

UK tax is higher, he’ll probably want his contracted wages matched Net.

if Real really want to get rid of him and we wont pay the full 140k I`m sure we would be able to come sort of agreement where we pay half (or whatever of) his wages and Real the other half. At the end of the day they`d still be saving money

There is no way Saviola is on 140k a week.  He is just a squad player for them.

maybe not on 140k a week but he did sign for them on a free transfer so I`d imagine his wages are sky high.

Knowing Real madrid's relationship with their government, they probably don't even pay tax.
