It's funny how these performances always come against immensely inferior sides though. Said the same thing when watching it. He is playing exactly how he plays for the U21's, if he did this for us every week he would be class. IT sounds harsh but maybe u21 level of play is akin with the Championship. Tooj Posted August 26, 2008 Share Posted August 26, 2008 We have defended really well, Taylor should not be an immediate starter when he's back, Bassong done mint, Enrique looking more solid and Zoggy is miles better higher up the pitch. 45mins against a poor Championship side which has been hammered and stuck in its own half for 40 of that. olliemort Posted August 26, 2008 Share Posted August 26, 2008 Really enjoyed the first half,great passing by us but Coventry are shite!Disapointing by Habib at the end,should be going in 3 or 4 up.Bassong looks impressive but hard to judge there playing Morrison up front on his own.Milner has really impressed me,making alot of good unselfish runs down the channels,best game seen him play since I can remember.Same again lads for the second half.
