Guest sicko2ndbest
I'm convinced after todays developments and this: Speaking on TalkSport, Ian Wright has clarified that his son Shaun has already decided which club he will move to, and that the deal is transpiring at this moment. Media reports circulating from an EXCLUSIVE Daily Mail report had suggested Wright-Phillips was willing to fight for his place and reject the offers from Everton and Manchester City. However, Wright has banished such rumours. He said; "Shaun has decided where he wants to go, his mind is made up. It's happening at the moment, there were four clubs involved" Evertonians face an anxious wait over whether the England international has opted for Goodison Park, with Everton forums everywhere likely to explode with optimism if the Chelsea man signs on the dotted line. That he is on his way here!

Kaizero
1 in 4 chance he's coming here then, good odds really. Though I'd not put my money on it.

Dave
I heard Wright on the way home. Basically said he didn't know who that bloke even was and if he walked into the place he'd knock him out. Said the player just wants to play football, a move is done/being done and he knows where SWP is going, but the comments about Everton and City were a load of rubbish. Kimbo
I would rather get someone younger tbh. I would be happy with him though, he's easily better than Milner.
Guest TheKingOfNewcastle
Everton - All work, no flair team, not suited Man City - Never go back Pompey - No money left

Something along those lines, the bloke was just saying that the Smith deal may still go through before the deadline
Yorkie
Would have thought it'll be Pompey anyway tbh. Makes sense given the signings of Defoe and Crouch. Portsmouth are the new England B team tbh. Defoe, Crouch, Johnson, SWP, James, etc!
Carlito
I think if anywhere then he'll end up at Portsmouth. Would love to see him here under Keegan again though.

Dave
Btw Wright also said SWP's preferred position isn't right out on the wing, but playing just inside the winger.
TRon
I've a feeling Pompey might be his preferred choice, dunno why. I wouldn't rule us out, but I think Larsson is the better bet.
oldtype
Considering that we can out-money Everton and Pompey, and City is in turmoil, if its between those four we certainly have the best chance. Wouldn't hold my breath though.

Skirge
I Milner did put his transfer request in 7 days ago we may very well be in for SWP, but would he move up here?
