I think they need to say to the 2 apparent buyers DEAL OR NO DEAL!! if not ashley stays and we can look for a new manager. id take AG

It all rests on what the banker offers.

Said today he wants to return to premier league management.

Snap him up ffs man Mike, just what we need.

Rather see him with a squad nowhere near as good as Chelsea's first.

Didnt I see on text earlier that he is sniffing around the Portsmouth job ?

He's already worked for Pompey though.

See your point but he's good with players and good tactically. Basicallly a massive improvement on Kinnear on those attributes alone

True, not saying he's a bad manager at all. And to be fair almost anyone would be an improvement over Kinnear.

I'm debating this tactical knowledge that is claimed.

It was interesting to hear him on Goals on Sunday.  While saying he wanted to return to management, he also said that all clubs these days must have a DoF or whatever label you put on the position, as the demands on the manager are much greater than they used to be.

No ta. Rather have JFK

Care to expand why ?

IMO, Grant is a no-mark jobs-for-the-boys manager. Has done nothing significant in his career. When the time comes to part with Kinnear, which IMO should be by the end of the season at the latest, we need the right manager in charge. Grant is not the right manager to move us forward in my eyes.

this, but i wouldn't say i'd rather have JFK if it came down to either of them being given the gig mid-long term
