Oh no...JFK has made Pardew and Llambias likeable to some :(

The dream team that nearly had us relegated last season? The dream team that were happy to fuck last Summers transfers off while telling us we should be grateful?

How quickly people forget.

So he's been ok "recently". Aye...forget the previous years of embarrassment, ridicule etc.

Goodbye Derek. Cunt.

As for nobody running the club...course there is, man. It's not like there's people now walking around not knowing their jobs. Like zombies.

It's shit timing and like I say...a poor way to go about it. But calm down on the Llambias appreciating. FFS. It was only a few days ago people were still complaining we has a casino manager as a boss.

Don't make out Llambias was the guy stopping the car crash of an owner ruining everything. He's just bailing from a sinking ship before he takes any blame. He's a rat...and he's jumped ship before it's too late.

His leaving won't be the reason things get worse. He's just left before they inevitably will.

It's not that we're discovering a new-found love for Llambias.  This would be like David Cameron being replaced by Screaming Lord Sutch.

I'm kind of not surprised to see Llambias go - but it's still a shock. I think Pardew will walk next and in the coming days. He's been very quiet and I imagine is seeking legal advice. It's Keegan v Wise all over again (although not to the same extent) Ashley must be laughing his tits off.

Clearly wasn't involved in bringing JFK to the club and feels he has been shafted by Ashley.

My thought entirely.  There has obviously been big fall-outs at the end of season with 'mistakes being made' quotes all over the place. Ashley doesn't obviously trust Llambias or Pardew.  With Llambias now gone, Pardew has lost an ally so I wouldn't be surprised if he is considering his position (Carr, too, for that matter).

Just got a text from a mate saying that Carr has resigned today as well. Not sure how he knows that, but he's normally right...

I was kind of hoping that Pardew and Llambias would band together to marginalise Kinnear.

Me too  :'(

Yup.  Was the main hope tbh. Kinnear is going to have a massive part to play compared to what I was hoping.  Fucking horrific decision.

Carr next, Pardew to follow. It is inevitable, Mr Anderson.

I hope that's untrue.

Was doing the rounds yesterday - one of the local journos on Twitter said it was untrue.

See how it pans out, but I have heard from a reasonable "sauce" that it was Dekka who appointed JFK without consulting the owner and not the other way round, which confounds most previous posts. It's feasible. As MD you hire and fire and don't have to consult shareholders (or owner in this case) to do so.

Make sense ?  Nah, but probably about as much sense as anything else does.

If you take all the football issues aside - it is absolutely astonishing that a managing director quits at such a big company without there being someone to take over immediately. If that happened to a company on the stock market the share price would be in a free fall.

Find it very hard to believe that Llambias could hire anyone without Ashley's agreement. And then why would he resign? Not that anything else is believable either, like you say.

Makes no sense at all when JK can't even pronounce David's name.
