I hope whoever did that to her face spent a lot of time behind bars, that's horrendous. I admire her, the pain must have been immense and would have killed a lesser person. Liam Liam Liam O
But could Michael Owen whose wife, Louise, was spotted in tears on the day he joined Newcastle ever bring himself to sign for Wigan? What a cunt Taylor actually is. You sound like Ronaldo
tmonkey
Indeed the player Chelsea arguably need is Middlesbrough's fairly prolific but infinitely more versatile and unorthodox forward Tuncay.
midds
Disgusting journalism. And yet she got the boardroom shenanigans bang on this summer. We refused to believe her iirc. Wonder who her source is this time? Hardly, all she did was print any negative story she could think of and one or two ended up vaguely close to the truth. If you disagree then that's fair enough. All taken from the Media thread btw. Reading it over, Taylor and the Daily Mail were all very negative all summer. I haven't read them all and to be honest I can't be bothered, though I noticed in the first article she mentions that "Meanwhile the combination of a generous salary, which is helping reinvigorate Keegan's Soccer Circus business in Glasgow, and a burning desire to confound those who dub him a serial quitter virtually rule out the possibility of the former England coach resigning." Not exactly spot on there then But seriously, I'm sure your right in that she got some things correct, but so did a lot of people. I just don't agree that she was actually spot on. IMO she printed a huge amount of negative stories, some no doubt with genuine sources and some without, about a situation which always had the potential for disaster, some of it stuck and plenty of it didn't. Not exactly spot on there then Seriously though, I think its a case of shooting a scatter gun of shit at the situation, some of it likely with sources and some of it without, and getting some right and a lot wrong. I just don't believe what she said can really be described as spot on overall. Fair enough mate. Can't be bothered anymore myself tttt.

Nicky
Really, really hope he signs. I would have to think he'd be a bit of an idiot to though, given our current situation. Just having a read of tommorows Telegraph article - they reckon its a 3 year deal, 80k basic but with a lot of bonus's which could push it above his current rate if he were to hit it. Just having a read of tommorows Telegraph article - they reckon its a 3 year deal, 80k basic but with a lot of bonus's which could push it above his current rate if he were to hit it. Hmm That's pretty much what I suggested we offer him, good if true. We certainly shouldn't offer him a fixed deal on or above what he's on now. Much better to offer him something that insures us to a degree in case of injury but also offers him the possibility of earning slightly over what he makes now if he can stay fit and score goals. I'd have no problem with Owen making £100,000 a week plus if he plays every game and scores 20 goals.
Dokko
Meh, If were going to offer him 80 we might as well offer 100, what's £1m a year more at that level, £3m over 3 years to secure a huge player for us. Offer the same deal, sign him up and sell him for £12m in the summer if we really cannot afford to keep him, then its still cost us nothing.

Teasy
So if he gets another big injury how will we sell him for £12 million? We need to be careful and try to bring our insane wage bill down a bit. Or at least make sure that much less of it is going to under performing or injured players then in the past. KaKa
A base salary of £80,000 a week with incentives to boost that is a very very good offer. I really can't fault the powers that be for that.

WarrenBartonCentrePartin
what a fucking divvy Louise Taylor is. Honest. Its obscene that she's allowed a national platform to voice her backwards, soiled, neanderthalic views about our club, our city, our people. Its bitterness to the fucking core. Every fucking time she sits her fat arse down at her "sewpa dewpa compewta" bought from Cash Converters it seems like she can't rattle her miniscule brain for a more constructive story or argument than to have a pop at Newcastle. The majority of those in the land that soap forgot don't have the ability to understand the deictics of a broadsheet newspaper. So who the fuck she's trying to impress I don't fucking know. Can we boycoutt the Guardian? (imo its shite anyway) I'm honestly tempted to set up a Facebook group for the craic.
