Had no idea Gallagher was injured as well [emoji38]

He’s just got the lurgy. Imagine he’ll be alright to play.

That pesky retractable pitch..

I was reading about that the other day. If we get a new stadium we cant make the same mistake as Spurs and RM.

Man, that is a dreadful injury list.

I think the PL need to make an emergency rule change to add or remove points to teams depending on how many injuries they have for fairness.

Been getting shit tons of injuries for a while now. Do wonder how much of it is players' desire to play when the odds are against them.

Bad leaders on and off the pitch, like we had under McClaren. Deserve to go down.

I love a good Guardian booting.  People should really be starting to wake up to the realities of the desperate pursuit of commercial success by pushing away traditional fans. Being able to compete because you put gigs on and have a retractable pitch is a complete chimera imo, spurs have spent years desperately trying to rejoin the big boys this way. A proper cautionary tale for me.

Putting on concerts and NFL has zero impact on the football side, correlation doesn't equal causation and all that.

Spurs have suffered from poor recruitment and essentially being pretenders. They have the revenue of a cartel club (with massive debt to boot) but the spending in terms of wages isn't in the same ballpark. They lack leadership throughout the club as well.

The thing we have in common is neither us or them have an actual plan on the football side to compete for say CL and PL titles, we both know it's where we want to be but neither of us have a clue of how to actually do it.

Aye feels like they've taken their eye off the ball with the footballing side of things and that cucking for the rest of the 'big 6' would keep them up there forever, them dropping out the PL and getting dry fisted by PSR would be absolutely delicious.

Absolutely right that the endless strive for commercial revenue is taking something away from the game but don't think the two are necessarily hand in hand.

F**k Spurs. They're sleepwalking to the championship like us in 2008/9. A club that thought they were in with the big boys because of a nice revenue and admittedly brilliant stadium. I would prefer them not to go down and circle around 15/16th for a few years ala Everton. Wonder how long it will be to the rest of the 6 tells them they are 'damaging the brand' and casts them aside.

I hope they sack Tudor, and deal with Mason for the season. There's no chance Poch will resurface for them in the championship
