sempuki
One of my housemates does music tech, and another is useful with it, as am I. Does anyone have a clip of Kinnear calling him Insomnia? I really fancy having a bash at remixing Faithless.... http://www.skysports.com/video/clips/0,23791,12602_4866187,00.html?ssvTab=1&ssvSelectedTab=12599&ssvBasket=12602&ssvPage=3 He calls Martins "Obi" too. And £6m is a small price to pay for someone who's got a potenitally big future.

gdm
Did I just hear that Taylor is playing for Wigan today? I hope not. Turned on Talksport half way through them talking about Wigan, and I think I heard them say they wondered how he will play today with Newcastle 'sniffing around'. How many Taylors do Wigan have?, one in their squad here: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/eng_prem/7856378.stm not in squad

LooneyToonArmy
Gordon Taylor is having a pop at JFK about it now. Taylor says Magpies boss is 'at best disrespectful, at worst deeply offensive' Published Date: 31 January 2009 Joe Kinnear's mispronunciation of Charles N'Zogbia's name is "at best disrespectful and at worst deeply offensive", according to Professional Footballers' Association chief executive Gordon Taylor. In a television interview earlier this week, Kinnear referred to the Frenchman as 'insomnia', sparking a row between the Newcastle manager and his player. N'Zogbia released a statement saying he would not play for the Magpies again under Kinnear, but the former Wimbledon boss retaliated by saying the argument was a "desperate attempt to engineer a move away from Newcastle United". Taylor has now waded into the clash between the Newcastle pair. In a statement, the players' chief said: "Why should we not expect Charles N'Zogbia to be upset when his own manager cannot even remember his correct name in public but chooses to say 'insomnia'? "Respect runs two ways. "This is at best disrespectful and at worst deeply offensive, especially as insomnia is as difficult to pronounce as N'Zogbia. It's not good when people who should cannot remember your name. "Ask Graham Taylor how he feels when he gets called Gordon Taylor. We are our name. "The word (insomnia) gives the media a stick with which to beat the lad."

He might think he has, but he's nowhere near as good as he thinks he is. What makes you think he hasnt got the talent? Where exactly is the shortage of talent? He's a good player who hasnt had the environemtn to kick on and be developed like he should of been. There isnt a single attacking player in the world who could thrive in the teams we've put out in the past 5 years. In a good stable side, Zog will be fantastic, just have to look at Milner to see how much influential a stable side can be on a players performances. Zog's problem is that he's not as good as he is talented.
Guest Stephen927
I'm surprised to see N'Zogbia is 22 years old. He's always earmarked as someone with potential, but for me he hasn't shown any since a brief spell when he first got here. He has got a lot to learn still and he needs to drop his attitude because the past few days have shown that the only team in for him was Wigan Athletic, a team roughly the same level as us. If Arsenal, Lyon or Villa were interested, they surely would have went for it given the price Wigan are paying.. someone's definitely filling this kids head full of shit. Kimbo
Why do the PFA have to pretend they're relevant? Nobody cares what their opinion is.

Fuck me I wonder what he thinks about Sir Bobby Robson then, hasn't Keegan mixed up a few names in his time at Newcastle. The PFA can be pricks at times, there is no mention about how disrespectful N'Zogbia has been by getting his agent and intrviews in France to state his desire, as it has been said, if he is that unhappy why doesn't he put in a formal transfer request....
