rocksammy
great cameo from him tonight, won a header and setup the 2nd, did more than any other forward out there tonight (Y)
Pilko
I think he's really poor but I'd have him ahead of Shola now. He did more in 15 minutes last night than Shola has contributed in 270 - no exaggeration.

wormy
Is it pathetic I just breathed a sigh of relief? Was expecting a one year extension.
Guest palnese
Played his las game for the club then. Who's our best attacking talent, if you look away from Ginger? Would like to see one or two of the Academy boys on the bench in the closing stages.

durhamunigeordie
Shame for him as he seems a genuine guy. Great championship striker, but just not up to it in the premier league at this stage in his career. Will not be particularly sad to see him released from a footballing point of view, but will go with my thanks. Am sure he will pick up a contract at another club to see out his career. Guest BlacknWhiteArmy
Sorry Pete Probably head back to the SPL in the summer then, although I believe it was speculated Hughton wanted him if they got promoted. God knows why
gbandit
when Lovenkrands leaves the club I'm going to have a really soft spot for him, I'm disappointed for him about his injury but not disappointed for the team

Pilko
Best of luck to him. I get frustrated with him as a footballer but at the end of the day, he's never been one to take the piss out of the club and he's always given his best, even if at times that's been short of what we need. If our final fixture of the season turns out to be a dead rubber I'd love to see him get a 90th minute runout to say goodbye, ala Peter Ramage at Everton. He deserves that, imo. AyeDubbleYoo
Sorry for the guy, he always seems to have good attacking instincts for me. Not sure why he can't quite produce the goods, might be physical limitations. Get well soon Pete.
Ronaldo
He's a poor footballer, Ian. It's as simple as that. Great guy, though.
Guest WashyGeordie
Peter Lovenkrands, Peter Lovenkrands, signed on a free, from nobody, Peter Lovenkrands!
abertoon
Shame Williamson didn't let the ball run through to him in injury time on Sunday, big chance to tuck that away and sign off on a high had it got through.
Ketsbaia
He's in the cult hero category along with Sibierski. Great guy.
Newcastle Fan
Had that ball fallen to him instead of Williamson he would've written his name in our history books and signed off in some style.
NoU
http://tipsbladet.dk/nyhed/premier-league/loevenkrands-kollektivets-styrke An interview in danish, where he talks about the reasons behind Newcastle's present success. TaylorJ_01
When he was at Rangers it was utterly ridiculous how fast he was. Ashame he's lost it. Lovenkrands vs Agathe was always a fun battle.

gbandit
Really appreciate this lads attitude and how he helped us out. I was disappointed at times to see him on the pitch but in reality, we had few options when he was getting so much game time and the frustration was more to do with poor striking options than Peter himself. I really hope he stays in the UK, top lad
