Dave
He's always been pretty reliable against lower calibre opposition. Learnt nothing new tonight tbh. He shouldn't be starting a Premier League game in our shirt. Same as Shola.

taxfree
"A lot of people are saying 'we need strikers, we need strikers,' but I scored two today[...]" You've scored one good enough goal, and stolen another, against a s*** Forest side. We need a striker. Can you stop f***ing moaning, we know his limitations and we know there are players ahead of him in the squad but you have been moaning all f***ing night "Oh f*** sake, Lovenkrands has put us one up". You're like a spoilt kid on here at times! Because of exactly that. He'll be even closer to first team action where it really counts. It's silly because he has shown time and time again that's he just doesn't cut it in the Prem. I was obviously not unhappy with him scoring, more that it had to be him of everyone. Fenham Mag
He has done miles more than i expected of him when we first signed him. A very decent servant to the club.

Ishmael
He genuinely seems to love the club and the support from the fans as well. Was one of the first over at the end of the game for an extended applause. Still bitter that he messed up the chance Ben gave him though. Wouldn't have heard the end of it about Ben's run
Revolution Number 9
A championship standard footballer, basically.
Newcastle Fan
He's done well with the chance he's been given, fair play to him.
eliassenfredrik
A championship standard footballer, basically. Yep, it's very simple. Same goes for Shola, Perch, Smith and Ranger. lol Problem Championship fags?
Heron
Wish we had him at his peak. Think he's a decent player, just past-it.
thomas
Rather him than Shola. That's about it.

Unbelievable
His peak was scoring 1 goal in 4 in the SPL. His goal scoring for us is 1 in 3, so
Guest palnese
His peak was scoring 1 goal in 4 in the SPL. Not that bad for someone who spent a lot of time out wide.

Ronaldo
Still not a player you'd want anywhere near NUFC.
TRon
Rather him than Shola. That's about it. He's not competing with Shola, his direct competition would be Ba.

If we persist with 4-4-2 it will be Best + Ba up front and all I'm saying is Peter is a better choice than Shola for third in the pecking order. toontownman
Like the guy. He has been fantastic for us, far surpassing my expectations but both he and Shola have to be moved on and replaced next summer. I have no doubt he former will. Shola we are lumbered with until retirement.
sugoinufc
people are too harsh on him. for a 4th choice striker he is doing a great job. scoring goals and being an outstanding professional who loves playing for us. if pardew wants 4-4-2 i think he is a better to partner Ba and best than Shola. Løvenkrands problem most his career is that he has been used on the LW when he is/was better as a striker or just behind.
