Looks like we may well be stuck with fat c~#*t for another season with no new players....great....! We are doomed...

You're missing the "selling the few players we do have who can play football for buttons on transfer deadline day" part from your assessment there.

And  :kinnear: coming back.

:weep:

Its time to kiss goodbye to this club we are heading for where Leeds and Southampton are and when in situations like that its very difficult to see Leeds United being a premier league team for a very very long time

Us as fans have been sold down the river by a cockney wide boy who has bought the club and gave his mates jobs in it...i mean FFS lambiass he used to work in a casino then all of a sudden he's chairman of a prem league club it just defies logic

The club is doomed and theres a chance there could only be 1 division between us and Gateshead next season

If it makes the idiots decision any easier then this is good news.

Unable to provide proof of funds, so what the hell was McMahon hoping to "hear by Friday"? "Oh, Steve, we've seen you haven't got enough money but GOOD NEWS!" More lies and shite.

The Profitable Group probably never had the money for a bid and only used the club's sale in a cynical attempt to increase their own profile.

Yep, unable to provide proof of funds

Well, that surely puts a different slant on things - when I saw the headlines, I thought they'd withdrawn because they couldn't agree a price with Fat Mike. The fact that they don't have the money to buy the club in the first place should surely have the headline "NUFC withraw interest in Profitable bid"???

It's like the mackems with Crouch. They withdrew their interest because Crouch wouldn't move north, i.e. he rejected them. The Profitable Group have withdrawn their interest because they have no friggin money, and to me it seems like they were never likely to.

It may because they are on the verge of accepting someone elses offer.............So they thought, to hell with it lets look as if we have withdrawn our offer before they accepted someone elses, could be a breakthrough for us

My feeling is that Ashley is fairly gung-ho as a businessman. He goes in feet first and then worries about any mess later, as with NUFC. There's probably an inbuilt assumption that other people are the same, and hence this over-optimistic time scale for selling the club, especially considering that any bidder is starting from scratch. Even at a modest price, a deal on this scale is hard to push through quickly.

SSN - this has came from Lambias, so mamy bidders have doen everything but when it came to proving funds they have walked away.

Trust them to do things backwards

Bet we're giving away free home kits or stadium tours with every due diligence. Probably just fuckers looking to get those for nowt.

Reminds me of that Simpsons episode when Homer takes a test drive in the expensive car just for the free spa tickets.

The cost of acquiring the club is in reality 300m. No fuck is going to pay that.
