ponsaelius
I haven't made my mind up about Henderson. I've seen flashes of quality from him, but he was still in the 'promising' category at Sunderland, and he was chucked in at the deep end at Liverpool. This tournament has come too soon for him, but generally it's too early to judge him. I'll say one thing for the lad - despite his struggles, his head hasn't gone down, from what I've seen. He's kept going, trying to get involved. He's got the determination to be a success in the long run. Disagree completely. His problem is that his head ALWAYS goes down. He just completely bottles games and hides from them altogether.
TaylorJ_01
Our team is going to be absolutely guff for the first two games without Rooney. Mine would be Hart Johnson Cahill Lescott Cole Parker Milner Walcott Young Gerrard Defoe Carroll or Defoe, what a crap choice.

S.S.R.
The cynical part of me thinks Barry and Lampard know we're going to have a lousy tournament and just aren't up for it.
Ronaldo
Yeah, they've only won the Premier League and the Champions League in the last month, why would they take their last opportunity to play in a international tournament?
S.S.R.
Carrick and Foster seemed to snub the same chance.

S.S.R.
Nice idea, but he doesn't look in any fit state to play, Dave.
WarrenBartonCentrePartin
Jordan fucking Henderson man  He is absolutely fucking shit. That is all.
Fenham Mag
Wish there was still passion like Gazza shown. I'm afraid the only one who visibly shows it is John Terry. All the rest just seem to shrug their shoulders.
Deuce
Let's see if we can come up with a better England squad comprised of players with fewer than 10 caps and who aren't currently on the Euro roster without any senior caps.
Sifu
Oh f*** off man, Jordan Henderson? FFS. He shouldn't have been put on standby either! Roy's made a terrible decision there.
WarrenBartonCentrePartin
we had summat like the fifth youngest squad with Lampard in. We're now second youngest to Germany now Henderson's in instead. This pointless statistic was featured on SSN this morning.
Sifu
Youth can actually be influential in these kind of tournaments, the wildcards if you will but it's plain to see that Henderson is neither a good wild card nor a legitimately good/influential player. SEMTEX
Why replace an attacking midfielder who would be used as an impact player off the bench... with Jordan Henderson. Why not just replace him with someone like Adam Johnson who can make an impact. Especially as every other winger we have could play in a more central role if needed. Total shite. Ronaldo
Carrick and Foster seemed to snub the same chance. Yeah, that's exactly the same. Carrick has been treated dreadfully by a number of England managers.
Guest Mantis
This tournament is nothing but a learning exercise now for England, who may as well start thinking about the gameplan leading to 2014

Dokko
This tournament is nothing but a learning exercise now for England, who may as well start thinking about the gameplan leading to 2014 The squad does scream setting up for the future. Just a shame Barry and Lampard got injured.
