Guest neesy111
Every goalkeeper I can remember at NUFC have had kicking/distribution problems mind. Except Mike Hooper, and Harper when he first broke through. Don't remember much from Hooper just the fact he was a liability which Keegan quickly saw. Harper was a much better kicker than Given to start with then receded imo.
Ronaldo
Wouldn't say KK quickly saw it. He was no.1 for a while then no.2 for 18 months or so. Was a great kicker, anyway. Almost scored twice from his area.

Wallace
Krul seemed a better kicker when he was younger.
Guest sicko2ndbest
He was saving far more half chances last year! All of a sudden they seem to be creeping under him or are just too far out of reach! I suppose this happens!
Wilson
thought he'd broke his arm or something when this was bumped
ExiledGeordie
I think he's lacking confidence because of the absolute shambles going on in front of him.
Mole_Toonfan
I think he's lacking confidence because of the absolute shambles going on in front of him. Can't blame him tbh, hopefully getting Debuchy and a CB in will breed confidence through out the defence Krul included.
hakka
The simplest answer to bad kicking is to stop stop doing it. Its something I hate about the English game as its symbolic of the hit and hope hoof ball that plagues us and our leagues. You watch decent Spanish sides and they try to aviod hoofing it from the keeper and so should we. To me its a huge risk to conceeding possession and you rarely get anything meaningful out of it. Crumpy Gunt
Could be time for Krul to have a break. Get Elliot in V Brighton with the proviso he keeps his place if he puts in a solid performance. Krul's looked average at best and last nights wall v Everton for Baines strike was as bad as Givens for Richardsons at SOL. Hopelessly out of position. Thinking back to OT and Evras shot should have been easily saved.
Fenham Mag
He played well last night. The Baines goal was a wonder goal.
The College Dropout
He's just conceded 15 goals in 3 games. His confidence must be shot to pieces.
powellnufc
I thought he generally played well last night, came out for crosses and corners well and showed good hands when challenged in the air. Also made some good saves, especially for Baines' first free kick.
SteveMc
He made some great saves and clearances last night. Beaten by a wonder strike and a shot from 6 yards. No blame apportioned
mattypnufc
Class save for Baines's free kick at around the 20minute mark.

Smal
He's just conceded 15 goals in 3 games. His confidence must be shot to pieces. He was as confident as ever last night. He came for almost every cross, made a few very good saves early on and actually distributed it short a lot more than he usually does.
AlanSkÃrare
Not our biggest problem. Hasn't been the beast he was last season but hasn't been at fault much.
Rich
Saved yet another one-on-one, which has to be his speciality.
Geordie Ahmed
Thought he was average the past month or so BUT no complaints about last night, thought he was very good and blameless for the goals
Guest palnese
He's a fantastic goalkeeper and we'd be fucked without him.
Cajun
That Baines freekick was hit perfectly.
Pilko
He took a step to his right before the Baines free kick, if he'd not done that he'd have saved it imo. It was spectacularly hit, but Krul's balance was off.
