The sooner people stop clinging to nostalgia the better for the current squad of players. You probably can count on 1 hand the players worth keeping long term.

Given was a brilliant shot stopper, but his command of the area was very poor.

Just like Colo's command over his wife.

Liability. Who cares what his shot stopping, handling, communication etc is like when he gives away a goal every two or three matches because he can't kick a ball properly? couldn't give a fuck if he left. Fed up.

He has plateaued and regressed because there is no incentive for him to improve.

You'd think there would be, like. The Dutch no.1 spot is very much there for the taking.

Look at his fucking haircut. Self improvement isn't in the lads DNA. It's not in a lot of people's tbf if they are completely satisfied with their situation.

He's never gonna be the Dutch no.1 keeper. Time to let him go imo.

We need a calm and confident keeper who can boss the defence and his area.

He has been a good shotstopper at times but is very inconcistent.

At times he can be one of the best keepers in the league. But if he conceds a goal he gets so shaky and it spreads to the whole team and we often end up losing (again). He really can't keep his cool when it really matters.

There should be. He should be trying to impress bigger clubs and getting into the national team but instead is happy to play with a shit team getting worse himself all the time

There was a time when LVG went to ManU I thought Krul would sign for them but since our collapse there's no way

We need a manager to come in and restore a bit of belief and galvanise things. Then a lot of these discussions will cease to be necessary tbh.

It's alright blithely saying he should do this, he should do that, but he's been at the club a decade and is now part of an organisation that actually aims for mediocrity. He's probably just given up waiting for a chance to move. Don't blame him either.

Actually think he's been absolutley dire this season. In fact the last match I remember thinking he was great in was the Tottenham match where we won but can't even remember when that was like two years ago?

Thing is all great keepers have competition that nears their level and drives them on (Given with Harper as an example) but all Krul has is Elliot! No incentive for him to try at all.
