Mick
He's developing into a really good keeper and he's got years ahead of him before he peaks.
Geordie Ahmed
During his earlier games he used to release the ball quickly, throwing it out wide a lot BUT he seems to be doing that less the more he plays. He is not anywhere near as bad as Harper who takes an age to release the ball BUT there were times today when he could have thrown the ball out, instead he held onto it and then punted it long (though this might be due to the instructions from the manager) That aside he has been superb this season, looks extremely confident and commands his area very well
Guest Rey Mysterio
From the first impression, that was a gorgeous save.
Ronaldo
I missed the save. Anyone care to describe it?
AY
Moses(?) hit from 10 yards and Tim dived to his left and got touch. Shot took deflection from Colo or Saylor on the way. Great reflexes cause it looked like going in
mrmojorisin75
Seems to have dispensed with the curtains and all, good stuff Krul
themanupstairs
Just been waxing lyrical about him in the match thread. Top class keeper and I pray and hope we get to see him reach his peak as our number 1.
Guest magpie99
I would go as far as saying Krul is developing into the best keeper in the premier league.I cannot think of any, if there are any at present, better than him. My only worry is how long we can keep a hold of him before some bigger team comes along and offers Ashley a kings ransom for him.
Ronaldo
Give over, man. He's a very good young keeper, not the best in the league.
Shayno
Has the potential to turn into the best keeper in the league, along with De Gea, and Szczesny. but you certainly wouldn't put him ahead of Cech, Hart or Reina yet
taxfree
I would put him ahead of Reina.
Cronky
I've just seen the save again. The ball was actually well behind him when he got it. Incredible reflexes and agility. I actually think at the moment we're a mid-table team who has been put into 4th place by their keeper.
Guest BlacknWhiteArmy
Best save I've seen him make. Not any kind of expert on keeping but looks incredibly difficult to get to that kind of shot with your left hand and get it out.
STM
I would put him ahead of Reina. Some people on here think Reina is "clearly" the best keeper in the league, i don't agree. Although Krul isn't quite there yet.
Tooj
Imagine Harper making that save?
durhamunigeordie
Imagine Harper making that save? Harper would have been rooted to the ground watching it sail past him! If Harper starts wednesday night at Blackburn I think I will then truly begin to appreciate just how good Krul is/has the potential to be.
Ginola
I would put him ahead of Reina. Some people on here think Reina is "clearly" the best keeper in the league, i don't agree. Although Krul isn't quite there yet. Reina is the best in the league, not clearly, but he is. Krul has the potential to be the best, but isn't there yet. Still great having such a good young keeper. Mr. Snrub
I actually think at the moment we're a mid-table team who has been put into 4th place by their keeper. Behave.
Guest Rey Mysterio
Imagine Harper making that save? Harper has a `rooted to the spot` policy for any shot that is deflected/comes through a crowd of bodies so previous history tells me we would have been 1-0 down! Cajun
That save, glad MOTD made it there final scene.
Heron
Going to set up a new company - the Tim Krul Bong On shop. It will sell classic bongs in the shape of tim Krul, in order to celebrate his affiliation with those mad orange bastards.
Guest je85
Apart from the near comical OG of the season he really impressed tonight.
Dinho lad
Yeah, couple of weak punches and poor kicks, but apart from that I thought he did alright.
Baggio
Monday showed the benefit of having a keeper that isn't afraid to come off his line and will go for absolutely everything that's fired in in the air.
Ryan_Taylor
Aye, he dealt with there constant aerial crap really well. Other than the one he nearly dropped in his net
