You'd think the FA would give them a small points deduction that kept them in the automatic promotion spots if only because they wouldn't want to deal with the ensuing shitstorm. It wouldn't be fair to teams fighting for a play-off spot to be bumped down. If points are to be deducted, they should deduct them as many as it takes to put them under the last team that still has a mathematical chance of reaching a play-off spot. It really is crazy how it has taken two years to find this out. There should be procedures involved when registering players that prevents this from happening in the first place. Guest Roger Kint
f*** off should they get a points deduction if the FA's darlings West Ham didn't. Totally different. 'When West Ham were punished over the Carlos Tevez affair they were actually found guilty of failure to disclose information - not of breaking third-party ownership rules because such legislation did not exist. Since then the FA have made third-party ownership illegal so the argument is QPR were worse offenders because they were well aware they were committing an offence.' Revolution Number 9
It's still a load of shit. West Ham cheated a team out of a premier place and got away with it. And now they're going to retroactively punish QPR with a points deduction at the very end of the season of all times, for an offence committed 2 years ago? At the very least, the deduction should apply from the beginning of next season.

Conjo
It's still a load of s***. West Ham cheated a team out of a premier place and got away with it. And now they're going to retroactively punish QPR with a points deduction at the very end of the season of all times, for an offence committed 2 years ago? At the very least, the deduction should apply from the beginning of next season. QPR have done exactly the same thing though if they don't get a point deduction, as they are cheating a team in the championship out of the opportunity to play in the PL. They even did it after rules were implemented to prevent it, which is worse. Put them in the place under the last team that has a mathematical chance of a play-off place. Then we buy Taarabt.
