If JFK really wants to be manager and expects to take over when Pardew goes, it's not in his interest to help him then.  Could he really be that manupulative?

Could really be that naïve to assume that, should Partridge walk & he gets the gig, he`ll be given anything other than dogs abuse from all ends of the ground?

We`re doomed

Surely he's not THAT fucking thick?

The thing that screams out to be heard from that piece is that Pardew is a dead man walking. Which might be a good thing - if his sccessor wasn't a full-on lunatic..

totally agree

Just people trying to pressure the board into action. First Pardew, now the local press. Fact is more worryingly for the former.. no one seems to know what the hell is going on upstairs.

They might be working hard and close to multiple signings. Likewise they might be getting jerked around by other clubs. They might also be sat fingers firmly up each others ass trying to play hardball with other clubs or worse not even that worried by the can of evaporated milk we have left boiling in an inch of water for hours. Shame it is us the fans that have to clean up the destructive mess and pay for the renovations.

That would require a level of intelligence he doesn't have.

I’m directly aware of one transfer which is good to go in just about every sense but which is being held up because “the people above (Pardew) are the problem.” Deals are horrifically complicated these days, but it is heightened by a sense of limbo at Newcastle.

I'm trying to find some optimism from this in that we could wake up tomorrow with a new player, but it's more terrifying than anything.

I suspect that quote refers to Bent.

It's worrying and Caulkin reflects the mood of most of us again. I think there is gonna be some kind of coup at Newcastle - Kinnear wants Pardew's job, but he won't budge. Clearly wanting to bring in Harford was an attempt to get some muscle on his side, so thank christ it failed. That said, it's imperative that Newcastle get off to a good start - otherwise the heat will be turned up on Pardew.

What a deflating read. The only good thing about that was Taylor saying we need to kill teams off, the fitness work is obviously good but will most likely be ultimately pointless unless we get some bloody forwards in.

Fitness.

It doesn't f***ing help matters when every time we get awarded a freekick no matter where on the pitch its awarded, every f***er is forced to run up to oppositions box to get the long hoof from Krul, and then everyone runs back again because it was f***ing pointless and no one manage to win the header so we run all the way back breaking our necks to defend the counter attack.

What happened to putting your hand on the ball and then take the freekick quickly.  95 percent of the time we stop play, everyone run to the oppositions box.

The way this team plays 'football' don't exactly do their own stamina and fitness any favours.  If not physically draining its mentally destroying at least.

Saylor's the biggest bullshitter in the history of NUFC. He said we were flying when Kinnear had his heart attack FFS. Ignore the stupid cunt.

To be fair he probably heard JFK say it and believed him he is that thick. We were 2 points off bottom when it happened. Flying indeed
