Mole_Toonfan
Yeah i'd say a CB,Winger/Forward and a CM are more important..... wouldn't complain if we brought a RB mind

WarrenBartonCentrePartin
genuinely think as a centre half you've enough time to make yourself a cuppa, flick through "What's On" and catch up with a family member over the phone before you have to get your head under one of his crosses to head it away. Seemed to be one of our main outlets this evening but still there's no fucking venom in them.
Tooj
Teams no they can just leave space for him to attack into as he's not really going to do anything with the ball in the final third. The fact that he's still first choice right-back shows how much of a failure the summer window was.
Skirge
He is being ignored loads even when in space, can't cross at all and one or two decent bits of defending is not good enough.
Guest palnese
He's done quite okay recently by his standards.
Mick
He was our best defender tonight.
Guest neesy111
He was our best defender tonight. That isn't worth much considering our defending tonight was abysmal.
alexf
Was moaning that he was the one doing all the attacking on that right side and it was coming to nothing. So ofcourse Hatem wonders over gets the ball and scores. Tried hard Simpson today but fucks me off royally that we never got the right back we wanted in the summer. FUCK YOU MIKE. Mick
That isn't worth much considering our defending tonight was abysmal. His defending wasn't, he played well.

His was ok, well is pushing it a little but he was the best of the back 4.
Tachikoma
Credit to Simpson today, I don't think anyone else in the attacking half showed the same level of desire to get on the ball, although it does mostly come to nothing.
KDT
Could do worse than watching some old Gary Neville videos on how to cross a ball, his crossing 3 years down the line is still woeful.

binnsy
thought that was one of his better games he has had for us, never gave kakanilic a kick and defending really well, just a pity that his crossing wasn't a big better when going forward. Disco
Credit to Simpson today, I don't think anyone else in the attacking half showed the same level of desire to get on the ball, although it does mostly come to nothing. Given that he was effectively the whole right side for most of the game his workrate and showing for the ball was exemplary tonight as was his job on Kaclinic was top drawer, so much so he got subbed. Let's hope he does the same at the weekend against Silva, much tougher job though.
AyeDubbleYoo
I admire that he shows for the ball, when everyone knows he's going to do absolutely shit all with it when it arrives. He's not a good player, but he definitely doesn't hide.
Fenham Mag
He looked good tonight but come on, you need to whip those balls in, not float them to the back post.
Disco
He looked good tonight but come on, you need to whip those balls in, not float them to the back post. Nobody attacked the near post all night so it would have a total waste of time, see Jonas' whipped ball in in the last minute. Not defending his crossing btw, it's shite in the main. ponsaelius
He put in a couple of good ones along with the terrible ones. It was actually not much different to what you see many fullbacks do all over Europe. The problem is our complete lack of movement and and attacking impetus in the box when they come in. Again, another thing that comes down to what is going on on the training ground. No complaints for Simpson tonight btw, his best performance in about 18 months.
