Haha. Surely there was a better option for him than a crammed train?

Just checked and an Uber Exec from ST to Heathrow is currently £827 maximum.

Even with surge pricing you’d think he’d just put his hand in his pocket like.  I bet the train wasn’t far off that depending on how many he was travelling with.

No doubt he’ll have access to shitloads of drivers as well.

Still mildly irritates me that Ronaldo gets referred to by other names because of Cristiano Ronaldo (I seem to be in a vanishingly small minority of people who always call Cristiano Ronaldo his full name - mainly to differentiate).  Ronaldo remains the best no.9 I've seen in my lifetime - even injury-ravaged and overweight the man was just the perfect centre forward.

Not much you can do when the other bloke's scored about 1000 goals

It's the gossy accent. My lass has it. It's mental.

Lowdsa cowts for loads of coats. Stowk for Stoke etc.

I think it’s a gossy high accent (the posh estate kids don’t speak like that and the kids who went to Kenton from the grange where Al was brought up don’t speak like that either). But scenty bottle isn’t it - Bruce’s can be similar despite being brought up in Walker

Jaimie Carragher's ranking of the 10 best Premier League forwards is hilarious:

9) Dennis Bergkamp

8) Eden Hazard

7) Alan Shearer

6) Wayne Rooney

5) Didier Drogba

4) Eric Cantona

3) Cristiano Ronaldo

2) Mo Salah

Bale aside, all of them players outside of Shearer played the majority of their Premier League careers with clubs on the top of the pile.

Shearer had 1/2 years at a good Blackburn team, and 2/3 years at a good NUFC. The rest of the time he was at mid table clubs, and lost 2 years of his career to injury.
