[emoji38] this is funny.

Al does live in his head rent free. I don’t take these comments seriously. It’s a bit.

Him, Wrighty and Neville have good chemistry.

Yeah, while no doubt Shearer got to him, he's being playful here in front of friends of Shearer. Do love that wor Al got to him though.

Jill is good craic tbh. They just ignore her [emoji38]

A big part is they al played in roughly the same era and Jill basically played a different sport. And they ignore her because she’s a woman.

They do that super 6 bit at the end - Wrighty and Keane just ignore her input again and again [emoji38]

Unless you actually find it funny I wouldn't give Keane any of your energy. He's the epitome of pundits playing a character. He knows what gets giggles from his colleagues and he's undoubtedly been told what does well on social media.

They're just saying things for the sake of it to fill airtime and it's why every pundit invariably becomes absolute dogshit.

Back when it was just a studio appearance every week or two they could talk about something they actually knew about with confidence. Now they just need to keep chatting shit about everything for 'engagement' and you realise how dense/vacuous so many of their opinions really are.

Of course Alan was sneaky - he was well known for as giving as good as he got. Nipping, standing on a foot, etc = was part of what made him such a terrific centre-forward. I remember Souness saying after a game v Blackburn - 'He's a bit of a bugger isn't he? I've got two big centre halves and he's messed them around - the bastard'. :D

Keane was a great player, but he was a snide.

This is what I always love about this moment.

Shearer never moves a muscle, nor loses eye contact, yet somehow Keane couldnt make it to him.

Where's that clip of him stamping on that Crystal Palace player...
(whilst I do appreciate that the challenge on him was a shocker)

Always liked Keane, even when he was playing. And despite his pretty obvious disdain for my idol!

He was an amazing player and relentless leader.

But that moment on the Overlap was so funny. He clearly has very strong emotions still on the subject.

Hope Shearer will address it on The Rest Is Football.

Keane calling others nasty - is he for real?:burn2:

"Sneaky"... I think he was pretty clear and insistent on his choice of word.

And, I'd back Shearer all the way and forever, but I also kind of see where Keane is coming from
