Wullie Posted August 28, 2018 Share Posted August 28, 2018 I'd never heard it but the Times podcast on Monday discussed the section of Paul Ferris' book where he said that all scans showed Owen was fit to play against Villa on the last day but Owen said he didn't feel fit and wouldn't play because he wouldn't get a contract at another club if he got injured again.
