Guest Geordiesned
That's the fella. Seems to have a great first touch and plenty pace. Decent goals record as well.

Slugsy
I'd like a decent midfielder but regardless of whether its a striker or midfielder, we need some serious pace.

Pilko
Someone's edited Beckford's Wiki page: Unfounded, yet widespread rumours cropped up on 29th December 2009 that a deal to take Beckford to Newcastle United in the January transfer window was already in place. These are yet to be confirmed or denied by either club.

Disco
Where's the dickhead/arsehole stuff about Beckford come from? Can't remember. Been sent off regularly for Leeds for being a cunt. (lashing out etc)

Ashley17
Well there was the show of petulance the other week when he was subbed, does that count? I agree though, for some reason I think of him as a troublemaker but I can't figure out why,
JH
He's had two red cards in his career according to the stats. Hardly 'regularly'

(lashing out etc) No he hasn't, just checked he's been sent off twice since 2006. And has had only two yellow cards so far this season.

Mainly the asking for a large contract, rejecting an offer which was an improvement on his current deal, complaining at fans getting on his back...usual cuntish behaviour
Ronaldo
Beckford's a decent lad but he'll be hated if he comes here because of his style of play. Never in a million years a premiership player btw. Anyone who says otherwise either knows nowt about football or has never seen him play.

If you just stuck with the first two sentences that'd be great, but you have to get that last bit in that makes you come across badly.

JH
Saying that a lad who has never played Premiership football will be no good at Premiership football? Hardly sounds fair tbh.
Guest
Let's hope if we do sign him he's more Ian Wright than DJ Campbell.

I've seen him play at Elland Road loads. He's basically terrible in League one but gets goals.
Oakie Doke
why not both? were newcastle united so ducj it if we want won on the mm we shiuld sign them and be done with it.
Guest gggg
Beckford would last 10 times game with us before being cast out the side for being 'lazy' and a 'poor footballer'. Him and the crowd at SJP would be a massive, massive wrong fit. As would Boyd tbh, but to a lesser extent. Lesser extent? that's the definition of Boyd. Beckford has pace and can finish from more than 12 yards at least.
