merlin
Hughton will not be under any extra pressure if we lose today because not many expect us to beat Everton. However, the games against Wigan, West Ham and Stoke will go a long way to deciding whether he - and the team as it currently is - are capable of keeping the club in the Prem because these clubs, along with Blackpool, are the teams we have to get points from to stay up. Interesting month or two ahead....
Dokko
How conservative of Chris. At least Bobby at nearly 70 said he's do cartwheels. Just his personality all over that like.

Newcastle Fan
Yet again, he's learning from past mistakes. Quality selection, Chris I have faith on him based purley on the fact that he's not an arrogent idiot like Allardyce and Souness and actually learns from his mistakes. Yorkie
Got everything right today i reckon. Probs could have brought Jonas on earlier to retain a bit of possession when it was all Everton, but we were defending well anyway. Great stuff. Shak
Made the right changes after last week, and clearly found a way to get the lads focused again so they could come out and play like that.

Mick
Sticking Jonas up front and dropping Carroll to play deeper was an excellent decision and took a lot of pressure off us in the end.
Dave
Received some unneccessary stick last week. It was a poor performance against Blackpool, total opposite to today. As I said in the match thread looking back it's a bit disappointing that we seemed to bottle out of playing total football against them and hit too many long balls, looking to match them physically. If we'd set out to play like today we'd have won that game I reckon.

Aye, got it tragically wrong for 45mins last weekend though. Impressed with him today, hopefully last week was a one off and he's learnt from it.
