Heron
...have some interesting fixtures - Hull, Burnley and Wolves being 3 and ManUre and Spurs being two of the others. If they don't win any of the the first 3 mentioned I think they'll be seriously in the s***...
Cajun
It would be handy if we could get Carroll to punch Bent in the face.

Amir_9
They wont go down, Burnley and Pompey are pretty much certainties, last spot will go to either Hull or Wet Spam.
Pilko
The first half today was the most dominant half of football I've seen in a few years.
Karjala
Unfortunately that 4-0 win vs Bolton and the few scrappy draws theyve picked up mean they wont go down. I expect them to beat Burnley too.
Robster
Who cares, this season man. Worry about them when we are in the same division again. Let's just concentrate on what we are doing.
ponsaelius
They'll stay up definitetly - unfortunately they'll probably strengthen over the summer aswell.
Guest Heneage
Their inclusion of two defensive midfielders really puts a creative burden on the wingers. The fact neither are really that talented (Malbranque has his moments) could put them in the shit next year.
Fenham Mag
They'll stay up definitetly - unfortunately they'll probably strengthen over the summer aswell. Doubt they'll spend much this summer, they've spent a fortune past few seasons.
Thespence
And Cana has looked shit since about Sept & collects yellows cards like he is Alan Smith.

Can't be too great at keeping possession.
Crumpy Gunt
They've won twice in four months and have moved from the edge of danger to almost certain safety. In Cana and Cattermole they have zero creativity and yet sit just on top of the shite at the bottom. Liverpool tore them a new one today. It goes without saying that Bent is the only thing between SAFC and relegation. Roll on a good old Beckham-esque injury for Bent next August. That's how shit it is down in the basement. If Ashley does anything reasonably decent in the transfer market it'll give us a decent chance of staying up next season where I think WBA and the Play-Off winners will be favourites to drop. Can't be too great at keeping possession. It's two playing one position really. They would be better buying an Elano type, who will just sit ahead of their midfield but infront of the opposing team's defence and look to set Bent away, meanwhile just ditching Campbell or Jones by benching them as the former especially just isn't good enough and Jones seems a bit too inconsisten and distracted by talk of bigger clubs. A good mould for Sunderland would be to look at Sven's Man City.
WarrenBartonCentrePartin
mackem I know reckons its all down to whether they can keep the same back 4 game in, game out, which they're struggling to do. Ferdinand at LB, Mensah and Turner in the middle and Bardsley at RB I think he said.
Thespence
Steve Bruce is keen to overhaul his squad and Spurs pair David Bentley and Jamie O'Hara are at the top of his wish-list. http://www.mirrorfootball.co.uk/news/Transfer-gossip-Tottenham-stars-set-for-Sunderland-switch-article371137.html
Ketsbaia
Even if they ever were in danger, they're certainly not now. They should easily get at least 1 win out of Hull, Wolves and Burnley. Unfortunately.

Guest kingdawson
Also, the Bent and Jones partnership doesn't work. Bent plays well by himself, put him with someone and he goes missing.

Guest half a heed
They are still far better than us, make no mistake. Liverpool hammered them but we have far poorer players than them.
