Anderson
Also with Nolan the reporters directly went to him, asking him questions, looking to get a quote about Sunderland and he simply replied it would 'be nice'. Bruce came out in a post-match press conference and stated his aim was to finish above us.

junkhead
This summer is a big one for them like.. They have to spend a lot just to break even after the loanies fuck off and then they have to spend some more for the two "top quality strikers". And all the responsibility is in the hands of agent Bruce

LoveItIfWeBeatU
Unfortunately we've taken a commanding lead over Sunderland in the injured player stakes (even though all you ever hear about is the amount of injuries Sunderland have got).

Ryan_Taylor
Just had a conversation on N'Zgobia coming back here or going there... Me He's been joining you lot for the last four windows hasn't he? Personally don't want him back, he'll never see the club as more than his stepping stone to the 'big time' and his attitude is minging Him We didn't have his best mate that he speaks to every day until this season Wouldn't really care if he thought we were a stepping stone, he's a class above majority of the midfielders in either of our squads, if he gets us into Europe or makes us a higher profile team and eventually gets a move to a bigger team, so be it So, the missing linke between now and Europe... Anderson
N'Zogbia's a fucking clown, he tried to use us as a stepping stone and ended up at Wigan. If he goes to Sunderland that's two shit clubs in shit towns he's managed since leaving us.

This isn't up to date: - http://www.physioroom.com/news/english_premier_league/epl_injury_table.php Newcastle currently have the following injured: - Hatem Ben Arfa, Leon Best, Dan Gosling, Danny Guthrie, Tamas Kadar, Kazenga LuaLua, Alan Smith, Mike Williamson, James Perch, Steven Ireland & Haris Vuckic. Disco
Also bottled it big time in the October Derby. Fake hard man, like Bardsley. I'd have Bardsley over Simpson tbh. Why? Because he flies into tackles? Because he's a better player. Have Onouha over both.

Guest johnson293
Lualua,Vuckic :) Why not go the hole hog and start including your under 14's EH?? I don't see your problem, or what under the 14's have to do with it. Those players are on that list as they are part of the first team squad... they have first team squad numbers. Chicken Dancer
I think finishing above Sunderland would be seen as a decent achievment for a newly promoted club. Not just Sunderland though, Stoke, Villa and Birmingham would be seen as very decent progress too. We've basically competed all season with our Championship squad + Tiote, and that batch of teams have spent alot more than us on their respective squads. And if we finished above Sunderland, it might shut them up for a bit about being 'top dogs' etc.
Anderson
Tbf the state our midfield has been in at times LuaLua and Vuckic would've both probably had a decent look in - albeit probably in a similar role to Ranger from the bench - had they been fit. AliGupter
Surely LuaLua has made a similar number of first team appearances for us as Meyler has for Sunderland?
